Sabor Latino – combo is a Brno band that focuses mainly on the interpretation of traditional Cuban dance music. Although the group is composed mainly of Czech musicians, it manages to create a wild atmosphere full of unbridled energy, which is so typical of Latin America. It plays its songs with passion, but also with great erudition and knowledge supported by the constant study of Cuban musical styles. The band's repertoire includes well-known and less well-known songs from the history of this genre. The group approaches them with respect and dignity, on the other hand, it is not afraid of its own arrangements or its own unique perspective on this beautiful music.

The version by Canadian choreographer Fernand Nault was created in 1964 and has been performed every winter by Les Grands Ballets Canadiens in Montreal since then. Its strengths include a fresh rhythm, a smooth sequence of individual scenes and images, but especially a magnificent theatrical and costume design that captivates children with its richness and color. Enter the world of magic with us and let yourself be carried away on a sleigh through a snowy landscape. Dance among the snowflakes until you arrive in the Kingdom of Candy, where you will be welcomed by the King himself. New Year's Eve without the Nutcracker
If you want to say goodbye to 2025 with humor and elegance, we can recommend the New Year's Eve program at the Janáček Theatre. The National Theatre Ballet has prepared a special New Year's Eve program for you - a slightly different Nutcracker, or New Year's Eve without the Nutcracker. Choreographer Markéta Pimek Habalová has already prepared the extremely successful Cinderella ballet for the NdB Ballet, which has entertained and moved entire families not only here, but also in China or Finland. Workshop pro veřejnost: Jak se dělá balet
Take a look into the world of ballet with us! The 120-minute workshop offers children of younger school age (6-11 years) the opportunity to take a look into the world of ballet art in a playful and experiential way. During the workshop, children will learn something about the history of ballet, important composers of (not only) ballet music, about choreography, costume, scenography and will also have the opportunity to try out the basics of classical dance technique and the connection of various body movements and gestures and expand their movement vocabulary. The workshop also includes a meeting with a dancer from the NdB ballet company with the aim of introducing children to this artistic profession up close. At the same time, it offers them the opportunity to discuss with an active artist topics related to ballet art, music and many others that concern the profession of a dancer.
