Good News Band
A soul band from Brno, a singer, three female singers, a brass section, a blues guitarist, drums and percussion, and a rhythm section. They play soul music, sometimes blues and rock, focusing on the most famous hits of American production from the late 60s and early 70s in more modern arrangements.
This singer brings an original combination of funk, pop and electronic music. His work is characterized by catchy melodies, dance energy and a distinctive vocal expression. He performs with his band and they emphasize not only the musical aspect, but also the show itself and live communication with the audience. Their performances are energetic, danceable and full of rhythm, but at the same time they carry a strong emotional charge.

KickerZ began his DJ career in 2019 as a member of the Brno crew Hard Complex and won a DJ contest that same year, thanks to which he performed at the X-Massacre festival. Since then, he has played dozens of club and festival sets across the Czech Republic, including Beats for Love, S-Massacre, Heart of Hard and Unlimited. In 2020, he co-founded his own studio and created audiovisual content on YouTube and Twitch, which helped to raise the profile of himself and Hard Complex during the lockdown. He has released "Stronger" and "Body Broken" (with Dot-B) and in 2024 he joined the newly formed collective Raise the Bass. He currently focuses on modern hard techno, but at the same time remains loyal to hardcore and its community. In addition to DJing and events, he is engaged in graphics, video editing and plans to return to music production.

The series of concerts by Tomáš Klus and the Target Group will do their best to make the Advent season more enjoyable. In addition to purely Christmas songs, which you could count on the fingers of one hand :-), we will bring you a verbal-musical show full of twists, clashes and comic insights at the highest level.
The Jackal Years
The Jackal Years is set in Prague's Dejvice in the late 1950s, living peacefully in its "small town" way in the shadow of the red star at the top of the International Hotel. One day, a young man named Bejby bursts into the world of parents living with the everyday worries of early socialism and their children, whose sense of the "outside world" is determined by the exotic contents of the hotel's trash cans. The innocent dustman causes a stir with his eccentric clothes and passion for "unknown" rock and roll rhythms; the youth are thrilled and the parents despair. Bejby's appearance, amplified in the story by the rock and roll hits of Ivan Hlas, which have now become popular (such as Jednu mi fotr požiadě, Na kolena or Rock'n'roll pro Beethovena), thus marks a key turning point in the lives of a generation of boys.

Publicly inaccessible water surface is a trio that uses piano, drums and double bass to bring jazz instrumental music spiced up with influences from folklore, big beat, alternative to "acoustic electronics". Czech Radio Jazz wrote: "We are publicly inaccessible and mainly flat", says the jazz trio Publicly inaccessible water surface about themselves with a mix of irony and dadaist humor. Their music is anchored in jazz, but they definitely do not set unnecessary barriers or dams..." The band participated in the Jazz Fruit competition (Mladí ladí jazz), then released the EP NC Live Session, the debut album Decoration Storage with several guests and is now preparing a new EP, which returns to the concept of a live session and the form of a jazz trio.

The powerful sorceress Alcina has created a magnificent palace on the island in a beautiful landscape, where she lures lovers into the nets of her power. One of them is the Saracen knight Ruggiero, who succumbs to her spells and forgets his fiancée Bradamante. However, she does not intend to give him up and sets out in disguise to save Ruggiero.

The Spirit Of Supertramp: Logicaltramp
Logicaltramp, a band that carries on the legacy of the legendary Supertramp, is returning to the Czech Republic. Brnokoncert invited them to the Czech Republic for the first time in 2018, and now they will visit the Brno Sono Center on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 as part of a world tour, and the concert will feature all of the band's famous hits from the 70s and 80s. The British band Supertramp was founded more than 50 years ago by two musicians - keyboardist Rick Davies and multi-instrumentalist Roger Hodgson. This marked the beginning of one of the most influential pop and art rock bands. By 2002, they had released 11 albums, the most notable of which are Breakfast In America (1979), Famous Last Words (1982), Crisis? What Crisis? (1975) and Crime of The Century (1974).

The little prince
Our interpretation is not a classic retelling of the story of The Little Prince; it is an original combination of music and words that will allow the viewer to indulge in their imagination and caress their soul. The well-known actor Jan Cina excels in the recital, who will guide us through a magical world where everything that is important is invisible to the eyes. Together with singer Vendula Příhodová/Kateřina Bohatová, they will present original songs by Kryštof Marek accompanied by the string quartet Unique Quartet and piano or string orchestra Unique Orchestra.
Etno Brno 2025: Musica Balkanika
The international group Musica Balkanika plays and sings in an irresistible Balkan rhythm on the border of Serbian tradition and gypsy jazz. They will also perform songs in so-called odd rhythms that are atypical for the local conditions.

DUKLA
Dukla is a Prague band playing guitar pop with a legacy of new wave, post-punk, nineties guitar music, but also contemporary club music. They have released a number of singles, several EPs and two albums. On their latest album Stejný lepší (2024), there was a noticeable shift towards more club music, without abandoning what is typical for them – distinctive melodies and nostalgic lyrics that reflect life in the city with admitted naivety. In autumn 2025, the band will release their new EP called Další rok. The producer was a related London musician Sunnbrella.
ANKI
Czech-Vietnamese cloud rapper Anki is looking for his place in the rap scene, but also in his personal life. Authentically, without strict lines or false certainty. Motifs of poverty, the periphery, changing living conditions and one's own identity meet here with the need to express oneself without ostentatious poses.

DANUBE roars and DANUBE rolls into the MÚZ Cabinet after years. The new tributary of the Danube in the person of singer Jana Vébrová brings a fresh stream of energy to the band. The Danube, strengthened in this way, continues to flow wherever it wants, while constantly finding new paths, connecting the past with the present. Come and listen to how the old Danube has transformed into a new element that will sweep you away.
How to make an opera? Workshop for the second grade of elementary and high schools
Where did opera originate? What is a libretto? Who is a stage manager? And what does a set designer need to know? You will learn this and much more at our workshop. Participants will learn about the opera genre, the process of creating a production, the operation of the theatre and the professions that work in the theatre. It also includes a taste of opera singing. Participants will experience several activities that will give them a glimpse into the workings of an opera theatre, the opera genre and its demands. The workshop also includes a short tour of the Janáček Theatre.

And how could it not, when the basis for Da Ponte was the play of the same name by the excellent French playwright Pierre de Beaumarchais.

Cappella Pratensis represents a purely vocal treatment of the Renaissance church repertoire and interpretation from the original notation, while Ramillete de Tonos adds instruments such as the vihuela de mano, Renaissance harp and Renaissance flutes. Thanks to this approach, beautiful compositions emerged from behind the walls of churches and cathedrals, and the music of the leading composers of the time became accessible to a wider audience. Ivo "Spyder" Křižan - an American musician of Czech origin, has played and collaborated with many prominent musicians such as Jeff Beck, Doug Lunn, Henri Bozzie, Mitch Mitchell and others. For many years he played in black club bands, especially in California, which were a great school of rhythm and blues for him. Spyder alternates his musical activities both abroad and on the Czech music scene, and his concert promises an extraordinary musical experience.
Letní Kapela + Jaroslav Rudiš
The Summer Band is once again embarking on its traditional Christmas tour. The musicians around Jaromír 99 will present songs from their two albums – the debut Summer Band and the current album Jako pes. Both recordings were produced under the production direction of Dušan Neuwerth at the Sono studio and released by the Supraphon label. The concerts will feature not only songs from these albums, but also other songs from Jaromír's own work. The special guest on the tour will be writer Jaroslav Rudiš, who will read excerpts from the book Sudety: Lost Paradise as an "opening act" before the concerts.

Swiss author Johanna Spyri (1827–1901) spent her childhood near the town of Chur in Graubünden, in a magical setting near Lake Constance, where the Rhine River flows freely and the Alps offer endless possibilities for breathtaking views. It is no wonder that this landscape inspired her to write her most famous work, which brought her worldwide success. The novel Heidis Lehr- und Wanderjahre was published in 1880 and in the Czech translation it is known to generations of children as Heidi, the Little Girl of the Mountains.
Brutus – a true big beat band
Brutus is a Czech rock and dance band that coined the term true big beat for its style. The band is considered a legend of Czech dance big beat. The band was formed in 1967 under the name Mandragora. During the period of normalization, it was forced to suspend its activities several times and always resumed them under a new name (Elektronik, Brutus, Kyklop). After the Velvet Revolution, it performed under the name Brutus and toured the entire Czech Republic with its four-hour entertainment concerts, from halls in large cities to sokolovny in remote villages.
Vanua2 + Imodium + Blind Künstler
The band Vanua2 was formed in 2017 by combining excellent musicians from Blue Effect with one of the most interesting new voices on the Czech scene, singer Yannick Tevi from the island of Vanuatu. Yannick's charismatic, veiled and sometimes hoarse "seal" voice is complemented by drummer Václav Zima, bassist Wojttech Říha and guitarist Jan Samek. Vanua2 moves in genre between pop, rock and soul. After more than twenty years of existence, Imodium is one of the Czech rock stalwarts. Six studio albums, dozens of clips and hundreds of concerts, including indoor ones together with Avril Lavigne, Simple Plan, Muse. Blind Künstler is lounge music for the dead. Collaboration between Rhys Braddock (Gerda Blank, Metronome Blues) and saxophonist Tomáš Tóvárek. Film music with the aesthetics of David Lynch.

Advent Concert: Castello in Aria – Artistic Director Vít Bébar
The Ave Rosa in Jericho program consists of Baroque works intended for the Advent season performed on copies of period musical instruments. The authors of these compositions include Jan Josef Božan, Václav Karel Holan Rovenský, Adam Václav Michna z Otradovice, Albericus Mazák, Johann Sebastian Bach, Heinrich Schütz, John Bull, Giovanni Gabrieli, Biaggio Marini, Enrico Radesca di Foggia, Mateo Flecha, Maurizio Cazzati and Dario Castello.
The Castello in Aria ensemble is dedicated to Renaissance and Baroque music, and from the rich sources of this period it also selects lesser-known pieces of both European and, for example, Latin American origin. An integral part is the adaptation and addition of often austere notations for the current composition of the ensemble, there is also room for improvisation. The ensemble has been playing in its current line-up since approximately 2014. The Fakers - Pearl Jam Tribute Band
The Fakers from Brno have been performing since 2010, playing songs by American grunge rockers Pearl Jam. You can look forward to hits from the band that became one of the most popular rock bands of the 1990s.
