RADIO BIGBAND GUSTAVA BROMA & JURAJ BARTOŠ

Gustav Brom's Radio Big Band has been active for over 80 years, is composed of great musicians from the Czech Republic and Slovakia, and continues its Czechoslovak tradition. The members of the band are soloists such as the great saxophonist Ondřej Števráček, trumpeters Juraj Bartoš, Miroslav Hloucal, Petr Harmáček, bassist Tomáš Baroš and others. The band has over 600 carriers and audio carriers to their credit. Brno native Zuzana Gamboa and Andrea Zimányiová with Ivana Regešová from Slovakia perform as soloists with a big band. Ivana is a participant in the Slovak version of Your face has a famous voice, Andrea is the winner of a number of chanson competitions, including world-prestigious ones in France. In the program as part of the Brno Brass Fest, Brom will be presented both with legendary melodies connected directly with the founder of the band and then with a special program where the brass section will be presented. The program will focus mainly on songs and compositions associated with Brno and its musical legends. The main soloist will be leading trumpeter Juraj Bartoš.
