Panthera

There's no need to introduce our leading contemporary 420PEOPLE dance ensemble. Every premiere is in the spotlight of dance fans and always promises a quality experience. The co-founder of the ensemble and choreographer in one person Václav Kuneš introduced in autumn 2019 a novel called Panthera, in which he was inspired by the bestseller of Israeli historian Yuval Noah Harari Sapiens - a brief history of mankind. The author describes in this peculiar interpretation of the fascinating but also scary history of the human species. Kuneš, however, does not describe history literally, creating pictures in which he considers the causes and consequences of human evolution. Man as an intelligent beast, beside which other animal species have no chance, lurking predator, but also a creature communicating and finding a way out of the vicious circle of aggression.
