Who wouldn't know the legendary warrior King Arthur? And the mythical Camelot Castle, where the Knights of the Round Table gathered to unite fragmented Britain and fight the enemy, and finally set out together in search of the Holy Grail? We all know this reputation. But maybe it was actually a little different…

The comedy group Monty Python was formed at an Indian restaurant in London's Hampstead in May 1969, when five Britons and an American decided to join forces to create a comedy series for the BBC. Thus was born Monty Python's Flying Circus, a series full of sketches, absurd situations and sovereign British humor; it aired 4 seasons in 1969-1974 and has a total of 45 episodes. In addition to live shows, the "Pythons" then turned to feature films, the most famous being The Meaning of Life (1983), Monty Python's Life of Brian (1979), and Monty Python and Monty Python. and the Holy Grail, 1974).

The musical Spamalot, created according to the latter's screenplay, was transformed into a theatrical form by one of the members of the famous recessive group Eric Idle together with the composer John Du Prez. The famous Broadway premiere took place in March 2005 and the work brought its authors three Tony Awards - including the main one for the best musical of the 2004/2005 season. The musical, where no idea is crazy enough and which is full of absurd sharp humor, will be a real candy not only for Monty Python lovers, but will entertain everyone who likes to laugh.
