The Eben Brothers - a band of three Eben brothers (Marek, Kryštof, David) and other leading Czech musicians (Pavel Skála, Jaromír Honzák and Jiří Zelenka). In concert, they play a cross-section of their work from the first album Malé písně do tmy (1984) to the last Time of Holin (2014), which is becoming more and more relevant in its content.
At the time of the release of the first album "Malé písně do tmy" (1984), the band acted as a fraternal trio - Marek, Kryštof and David and were completely unique on the Czech music scene. The sons of the important composer Petr Eben (1929 - 2007) received a classical music education, but at the same time they absorbed the influences of modern folk, jazz and rock music. With his ability to draw from all these sources and the art of using various unusual musical instruments, an absolutely untraditional, ebony sound "on the Czech scene" was created. Moreover, in connection with Mark's exceptional lyrics, the Eben Brothers have been and still are unique on the Czech music scene.
