Music marathon Brno 2022 I Soul Ožil

As the name itself suggests, the main musical genre of this band is soul. The nine musicians occasionally head into funk, blues, jazz or pop waters, where they emphasize quality and precision. But the main goal is to bring the unique energy of music, rhythm and joy to the audience. The band was formed at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory and consists of a rhythm section, four wind instruments and vocals. In the past, they performed, for example, at Mladí Ladí Jazz or at Karel Roden's Jazz Evening. They play regularly at the Jazz Dock club in Prague. The audience is offered not only covers of Aretha Franklin or Tower of Power and others, but increasingly also their own creations.
