Music Marathon Brno 2022 I Kale

There is probably no better-known Roma band in the Czech Republic and Slovakia than the Kale group. Many know him from his association with another icon of the Roma scene; Vera Bila. Together they played in more than 25 countries around the world, in places like London, Paris or New York. They achieved success almost immediately, with the release of their first album "Rompop" in the 90s of the last century. Today, the band performs without Věra, yet its music remains full of temperament, catchy rhythms, as well as tender melodies. Musical skill is also confirmed by long-term playing; excellent born musicians, bound by family ties, have been performing together since childhood.
