Over ten joint concert projects and sound recordings resulted from the collaboration between Ensemble Opera Diversa and Slovak violin virtuoso Milan Paľa. This cooperation began in 2015 with the presentation of the piece Concerto funebre for violin and strings by the German composer Karl Amadeus Hartmann. From that moment on, this synergy has regularly held at least one Brno concert a year, at which world or Czech premieres of compositions by Adrián Demoč, František Gregor Emmert, Heinz Karl Gruber, Jevgenije Iršai, Marian Lejava, Pascal Manolio, Alexander Moyzes have been performed together. and Miloš Štědroná. Outside the city limits of Brno, Diversa and Paľa performed at the Forfest and St. Wenceslaus music festivals. Together, Pavlík Records produced recordings of compositions by the previously mentioned authors, as well as Robert Schumann and Ludwig van Beethoven. This rich collaboration was expanded by last year's chamber diptych of world premieres for solo violin by Adrián Demoč and Jana Kmiťová, as well as the violinist's soulful recital with his artistic and life partner, the pianist Katarína Paľová. This program continues the solo line with the premiere of a composition by the Canadian-American composer Linda Catlin Smith, who wrote the piece at the suggestion of the evening's performer.
