The chamber musical Women on the verge of a nervous breakdown combines elements of Feydeau's farce with Hispanic emotion and temperament, manifested in captivating jazz-rock music inspired by Spanish genres and rhythms, such as flamenco.

In the streets of Madrid in the late 80's, a city pulsating with life, the story of the dubbing actress Pepa and her friends and acquaintances takes place… Music composer David Yazbek, author of the highly successful musical Donaha! this time, together with librettist Jeffrey Lane, he reached for the famous, delightfully crazy comedy from the famous Spanish director Pedro Almodóvar from 1987. The Broadway premiere of the musical version took place in 2010.
