The Gaudeamus Brno Choir presents an evening of ancient myths and legends by modern compositional techniques in the choral compositions of contemporary world composers.
We will take you from folk myths to the creation of the world and the magical power of natural elements through ancient mythology to biblical and medieval legends.
There will be compositions by Nordic composers Peteris Vasks, Veljo Tormis, Jan Sandström, Pekka Kostiainen, Czech authors Petr Eben, Pavel Sýkora and others.
