The resident Pavel Haas Quartet will play the most attractive of the three quartets composed by its patron entitled From the Monkey Mountains at its last festival concert. Jazz percussion will be added to the strings in this colourful portrayal of experiences from a holiday in the Nové Město region. Sergei Prokofiev imbued his two quartets with the essence of his creative art and life wisdom.
