JFB 2022 I Jazz Courtyard 2022

The seventh edition of the Jazz Courtyard will take place again in Prague and Brno. The jazz courtyard will bring a unique series of concerts in both cities, jointly initiated by the jazz departments of the Prague HAMU and the Brno JAMU. The student ensembles of both schools, their own long-term projects of selected students and teachers, will present themselves in the Czech and Moravian metropolises. In Brno, the event will be hosted by the courtyard of the Old Town Hall on 15 June; in Prague, this project will host the courtyard of HAMU on Malostranské náměstí on 16 June. The event is supported by the JazzFestBrno festival and admission is free.
The members of the bands also include well-known jazzmen, both students and teachers. There will be personalities of the jazz scene such as Matúš Jakabčic, Jiří Slavík, David Dorůžka, Luboš Soukup and many others.
