ŠTETL FEST 2022: Avisahi Cohen Trio

A native of Jerusalem, Avishai Cohen began his career in the nineties, and after an engagement with pianist Chick Corey, he soon embarked on a successful solo career, which the Czech audience has been following since the beginning.
Cohen released a number of successful albums on the border between jazz and world music, but he never resisted pop either. As part of the Štetl Fest festival, Cohen's music permeated by his Israeli roots will be presented in the best composition with pianist Elchin Shirinov and drummer Roni Kaspi. The result is a fantastic sound, precise interplay, complicated but exciting polyrhythms and grooves, romantic mood of the compositions and individual virtuosity fully utilized for the needs of the whole. The concert takes place as part of the Štetl Fest international festival of Jewish culture.
