BLUE TRAIN - A new series of Sunday concerts with a title inspired by the legendary album of John Coltrane and referring to our colors, presents the collaboration of Kabinet and JazzFest Brno. It takes primarily progressive and jazz music into the viewfinder, but it does not resist overlaps with other genres and therefore presents our hall in a new light. Sunday evenings under this heading offer the opportunity to watch quality music of genres that have rarely appeared in Kabinet until now.
KIND IMAGES
Under this name hides a jazz duo in the cast of piano / drums. Inspired by the British nu jazz scene and projects such as GoGo Penguin, Mammal Hands, or PorticoQuartet, the two young musicians give rise to dynamic, captivating and well-mastered music. The project had a strong impact on delegates from all over the world on the occasion of the Brno Central European Jazz Showcas, and there is no doubt that it also conveys a strong experience to visitors to Kabinet
ENDEMIT
Brno's Endemit plays progressive, but fresh, unbelievable music. All the talent that the members of the quartet clearly have is obscured by the veil of modesty and directed in a common direction; to music. From every detail of their instrumental compositions, emotion, creativity and disrespect for any genre boundaries can be heard, which is a combination worth seeing live.
