For the third time we can welcome the Manchester-Berlin band The Underground Youth. The band combining shoegaze, psychedelic rock and post punk inextricably includes a darkened aura and odor of cigarettes and alcohol, and the Joy Division atmosphere comes to life with painful intensity - although The Undergound Youth frontman Craig Dyer mentions Bob Dylan and Nick Cave for his essential inspiration. It doesn't matter if we are writing 2019 or 1980, the musical taste of Manchester remains just as authentic.
