The world-famous New York beatmaker Blockhead will once again join forces with friendly producer Arms and Sleepers for fourteen concerts, including the European-British tour in May 2022. For both artists, this is the first European tour since the beginning of the pandemic. The French electronic duo il: lo will also appear at selected concerts.
The latest album of Space Werewolves Will Be The End Of Us All, a former member of the Ninja Tune label, was released by Future Archive Recordings in September 2021. It was discussed and appreciated by critics from the BBC and KEXP, among others. Blockhead succeeded in collaborating with Aesop Rock in November 2021 under the name Garbology and the Rhymesayers label. The producer, globally considered one of the contemporary masters of instrumental hip-hop, presents an eclectic live-set complemented by visuals and charting his 20-year fruitful career.
Arms and Sleepers, a native of Berlin, has been releasing music since 2006, and NPR, Clash Magazine, The Line Of Best Fit, XLR8R, Earmilk, and countless others have made no secret of his work. During his active career, Arms and Sleepers has credited over 30 releases, 2,000 live appearances and countless TV and movie appearances. The thirteenth studio album, collaboratively released by SlyVinyl Records and DXFXWXU Collective, former kingdoms, is expected on May 10.
The French electronic duo il: lo was formed in 2010 and currently releases music under Batbird and Anjunadeep. He also has Emancipator and CloZee remixes on his account.
