RADIO IVO: YOU DON'T APPRECIATE LIFE
Improvised radio plays.

Radio Ivo was created as an attempt to transfer the radio play to the stage without any transformation and previous text. Only with the possibility of seeing its creation. The play LIFE YOU DON'T APPRECIATE directed by Romana Bohunská and its next reprise with a new theme. Expressive civility and sound realism in slow tempo. Normal stories from life. Embarrassed performers give quite a commanding performance.
Since 2006, Radio Ivo has played more than 100 completely improvised radio plays, both in the theater and live on the radio (Vltava, Radio 1, Radio Wave, Slovak Radio). For the studio play "Would You Have Twenty Minutes?" won the Prix Bohemia international radio award in 2009. An exception to the usual full-length story format was the short story play "The Spirit of the Age" for the Vltava station's Cabaret v Eter. Radio Ivo also cooperates with other artists: this is how the play "100 years live" was created on Slovak Radio together with the Gasperego Theater or performances with the actors of the Dlouhá Theater or other guests. From a certain time, all performances are recorded. Most of them can be listened to and downloaded on Soundcloud and Uloz.to or on the website and Spotify podcast of Czech Radio Radio Wave, where Radio Ivo regularly performs, and where stylized mystifying accompanying texts are a significant part of the games. Other permanent scenes are Prague's Studio Hrdinů, until recently Brno's cafe Praha and now Kabinet múz.
The acting trio consists of members of Czech alternative theater groups - Petr Marek is a founding member of the improvisational DECADENT THEATER BERUŠKA, music groups MIDI LIDI, MONIKINO KINO, MUZIKANT KRÁLÍČEK, KAKADUO, a film director (in cinemas LÁSKA SHORA, NEBÝTÍ DNEŠNÍ, NIC PROTI NIČEMU). Johana Švarcová comes from the DNO Theater in Králové Hradec, she was a member of the music group KAZETY, a graduate of directing at FAMU, an author of radio plays and a film actress. Together with Petr, they play to dance as DISJOCKEJOVÉ and occasionally perform as a comic duo SOUROZENCI BRUCKEROVI. Marian Moštík was a member of the Havířov improvisation theater V SOUKOLÍ, played in Brno's HADIVADLA and in several films. All three also perform together in the collective all-stars band of Moravian improvisational theaters
