CERMAQUE: LAMENT
Catchy analog beats, spontaneous stage energy and rap lyrics that, according to critics, would hold up even in a book edition. Poet and songwriter Jakub Čermák, twice nominated for the Anděl Award in the Folk and Alternative categories, put down his guitar for this project and embarked on the path of alternative rap. In collaboration with young producer and multi-instrumentalist Pavel Kielberger, he follows up his award-winning 2020 rap record Lament, which mixes engagement with intimacy and openly painful statement.
