The April SOFTSPOT will offer the most packed line-up yet. Rapper ECKO BAZZ, who is a star of the Ugandan labels Hakuna Kulala and Nyege Nyege, will visit Brno and his back will be covered by STILL from the PAN label. Berlin-based experimental rapper LLOYDFEARS and local LAOKOON will also arrive. A combo you never dreamed of!

Since his outrageous debut LP Mmaso released on the Hakuna Kulala label, Ugandan acrobatic rapper Ecko Bazz has quickly achieved international success. His style is a fusion of supernatural trap intensity, demonic nu-dancehall and politically indignant Luganda poetry exploring violence, religion or poverty in the Ugandan slums. Everyone who had the privilege of seeing him live experienced a feverish flow of words and fiery manic energy. The rapper freely alternates sober truths and hyperactive screams, to which he adds beats from Debmaster, Slikback or British producer PQ (Nightmare song).
For this tour, Ecko Bazz joins forces with longtime collaborator, Milanese producer and visual artist STILL (head of Hundebiss Records, also known for his Dracula Lewis project). STILL's practice is defined by a unique, nomadic approach that shifts shapes through his vernacular worlds of sound and images. He founded Invernomuto alongside Simone Bertuzzi, published music under various monikers and debuted his alias STILL on the acclaimed and progressive label PAN in 2018.

An artist from the north of England based in Berlin. Dedicated to music, performance and spoken word. His Saint & Ogre EP last year features a high interplay of resonant ambience and density. Experimental UK rap wrapped in a gallery aesthetic and club sound.

LAOCON
=====
An experimental concept of rap performed by Jiří Machů (Killiekrankie) and Mikuláš Hamerla (Sekvoye). The combination of industrial electronic music with sophisticated beats and intense delivery with a hint of Dadaist lyrics is more sophisticated today. With last year's album Šperk, Laokoon perfectly follow up on what they started on their debut.
