Chief Bromden work with the intensity of noise structures, frantic and sophisticated rhythms and sensitive vocals in a modern concept of guitar music. Unpredictable, intense and energetic concerts have become characteristic for the band, where the unmistakable synergy of all members and their sonic expressiveness gain a new dimension and space. The band performed live at the larger festivals Colors of Ostrava, Beseda u Bigbítu or Pelhřimovy and impressed with their debut Slunovrat (2020). This was released on friendly label Full Moon Forum, as was their follow-up EP Noise Forever (2022). On it, the band devotes itself to sonic adventures to a similar extent as it tries to record strong songs with an enchanting atmosphere. Singer and friend Lenka Dusilová also makes a guest appearance on the opening track of the EP Linen. Both albums were recorded by the legendary Amak Golden. Vinyl Noise Forever was released by one of the most prominent independent Czech labels, Korobushka Records.
Chief Bromden are intensively working on their third record. If you thought there was an unprecedented silence, it could also be because the stealthy and gradually increasing sound of this group is gradually awakening and settling into the collective psyche of this time and society. THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE
The Ostrava group has played approximately 300 concerts throughout the Czech Republic, but also in Slovakia, England and Poland. During its existence, it preceded musical giants such as Killswitch Engage, Bring Me The Horizon, The Qemists and played at leading Czech festivals such as Rock For People, Brutal Assault, Colors Of Ostrava, Mighty Sounds. The band self-released two EPs "The Truth Is Out There" (2011) and "Strange Game..." (2013) and two full-length albums "Lighthouses" (2015) and "All Little Revolutions" (2019). The last album ALR was nominated in the Anděl awards for the best rock album 2019. TTIOT is currently coming out with a new EP "Crazy" (2022) produced by Filip Vlček and they are preparing their third album. Above all, thanks to incredibly energetic concerts, this group has gained a wide fan base and also a very decent reputation among music critics.
