Nero Kane

Johnny Cash, Nick Cave, Nico and Jim Jarmusch at a party that takes place in a graveyard for some reason. This is the music of the Italian dark folk singer-songwriter who calls himself Nero Kane (real name Marco Mezzadri). His songs explore the dark corners of the human soul and captivate listeners with minimalistic guitar motifs and drawn-out tones, i.e. techniques referring to the genre of American guitar primitivism. The debut album Love In A Dying World was recorded by Nero Kane in Los Angeles under the baton of Joe Cardamone, who collaborated with the Jesus and Mary Chain, The Stooges and Warren Ellis. The next record, Tales of Faith and Lunacy, mixes country, psychedelia and desert rock influences. The highlight of Nero Kane's career so far is last year's mesmerizing collection Of Knowledge and Revelation, where singer Samantha Stella took care of the vocals, reminiscent of the legendary Nico with her voice. Singer-songwriter Nero Kane will be on 16.4. to revive the spirit of rock decadence in the MÚZ Cabinet.
