SLUT (BAPTISM)
Prague hardcore, noise, psychedelic band whose roots go back to the early nineties. After a break, the band Slut has been working with new energy since 2019. This year, Slut was transformed into the new album Spirit Of Brotherhood, which is released on May 26. on our label Kabinet Records.
Yes, Slut from Prague are back after a very long break and it's a ride! And be careful, this is not a fancy reunion out of nostalgia. Slut are now writing their best and most interesting chapter so far. Both key characters – the founder's father Hrádek (guit) and Jakub Plaché (voc) – are equally complemented by four newly arrived heroes, of whom you may know Jan Svačina or Sváča (dms) from the parallel stories Please The Trees or Katastr. All of them put together completely new compositions and are not afraid to use not only Tool, Swans, Neurosis or Butthole Surfers for ingredients, but also Pink Floyd, Ornette Coleman, etc. to Dg-307, or they humbly and respectfully borrow from Indian ritual songs and arch rolling, industrial-psychedelic blues with the pressure of a well-melted steam locomotive, so that in the finale they can only be compared to themselves. Btw, "slut" means final in Swedish. This final is monumental and impressive! Don't miss it!
