For more than two decades, UFOMAMMUT have combined the heaviness and majesty of sludge-metal riffs with a strong influence of the psychedelic tradition, creating a colorful universe. Dynamic musical worlds that, since 1999, encourage contemplation and absolute insight.
2022's current line-up Fenice (Italian for "phoenix") is out again on the Neurot Recordings label and represents endless rebirth and the ability to start over (even if everything is doomed). While the band is known for their psychedelic journeys into the far reaches of space, Fenice is a much more introspective listening experience. The album is the first recording with new drummer Levro, who joined Poia (Guitars and Fxs) and Urlo (Bass, Vocals, Fxs and Synths). The new lineup marks a new chapter in the band's history and reveals a more intimate and freer sound.
It's been five years since the Liberec band Drom released their last regular album Tady bőh né! inspired by the Lety concentration camp. However, Drom never disappeared from the field of vision and from time to time they are remembered with a great split. Whether it was UR's last record with Tengri or Fullmoon Alchemy Narcotic Session with Blues For The Redsun. This autumn, Drom returns to Kabinet with typical emotional eruptions, gusts of the hardest guitars and quiet places for contemplation.
The vocals are lost in the echoes of endless reverb and the dreamy atmosphere is sometimes interrupted by a snarling guitar. The band Science Killer is a guitar band from Brno, whose natural environment is psychedelia, shoegaze, noise, rock and blues. At the concerts, you can feel the influences of garage and hypnotic repetitions, which follow the original blues tradition.
