Urgob is the original line-up of the band Der Šenster Gob from Prague. It was founded in 2010, ceased to exist in 2012 and was renewed in 2017, since when it has operated in parallel with the main four-member band Der Šenster Gob. Urgob plays a transverse flute, accordion and double bass, especially Jewish, but also Ukrainian or Caucasian songs, especially merry, wedding and dance.
Urgob has given concerts and street performances in many European countries (CS, DE, FR, SWE, AT, ...) and absorbs musical inspiration from friends living around the globe. Come and listen to the elemental mix of these inspirations!
