Cascavel Maldita & Família Pádua kvarteto
Brazilian popular music is a vast array of beautiful melodies that quickly get under your skin, while also being colored by fresh harmonies and rhythms. Experience an exceptional evening full of diverse Brazilian music at a double concert by the groups Cascavel Maldita and Família Pádua. The band CASCAVEL MALDITA will transport you to the 70s-90s of the twentieth century in the style of MPB (música popular brasileira), which combines modern musical elements with traditional rhythms. The members tend towards jazz and folkloric Latin American music, which is why they choose hits from the tropicalism period in the style of jazz-rock fusion or, for example, songs by Djavan, which are poetic, full of energy and groove. FAMÍLIA PADÚA KVARTETO is a renowned Brazilian musical group with more than 16 years of artistic career, led by the versatile multi-instrumentalist Antônio de Pádua – trumpeter, percussionist, cavaquinho and seven-string guitar player. He is accompanied by his wife, percussionist Roberta Karin, and their son, talented flutist João Vítor. They are joined in this quartet project by guitarist Gabriel Moraes. Together they form a unique musical family whose art combines tradition, innovation and emotional depth.
