At the same time, these are the only shows of Vojtěch Dyk & B-Side Band in Brno this year.

Vojtěch Dyk & B-Side Band

The unique association of the Brno jazz orchestra B-SIDE BAND, bandleader Josef Buchta, and singer, actor and great performer Vojtěch Dyk is currently one of the hottest projects in Czech showbiz. Their fist CD release „Live at La Fabrika“ from 2012 topped music charts for a long time. Vojtěch Dyk received the Czech Music Academy award as a singer of the year for this live CD with B-Side Band. Their new CD release „Deska“ from 2014, full of their own pieces and arrangements, became the bestselling album within first two weeks since its launch. Their shows are regularly sold out in few days from the ticket office opening. Media reviews and fan feedback are clear: B-Side Band and Vojtěch Dyk proved that once again swing can sell out music halls and make audience stand up and dance.
In 2013 Vojtěch Dyk & B-SIDE BAND played grand shows featuring a global jazz vocal superstar Kurt Elling. This was a major success and Elling found Vojtěch Dyk one of the most talented young singers. He also said about B-SIDE BAND it is a big surprise there is such a great big band in Czech republic.
„We spent such a great time with B-SIDE BAND. They are charming and well-tallented musicians and we do hope to come back and perform with this wonderful band and Josef Buchta again. They are not only B-SIDE BAND, they are real „A“ band!“ said Kim Nazarian from New York Voices (USA, Grammy winners) after show with B-SIDE BAND in November 2014.
In November 2016 B-SIDE BAND was performing a great show with charming british vocal trio The Puppini Sisters (well-known from the christmas album of Michael Bubblé and other collaborations with pop and jazz stars). There was also Vojtěch Dyk singing few songs together with the ladies at this concert. Their collaboration continues and so they performed 2 very successful concerts together at international festival Smetanova Litomyšl in June 2017 and 2 other shows in November 2017 in Prague and Brno again.
