The double bass player Robert Balzar has been busy performing bands with J.A.R. and Illustratosphere. At the same time, however, he does not neglect his own jazz trio, which is undoubtedly one of the stars of post-revolutionary jazz in the Czech Republic. It was founded in 1996 and has since recorded six albums, which have won numerous critics' awards in addition to audience success. The latest album of the trio, called Vuja-Dé, was recorded and mixed by the great American soundmaster James Farber to set a new sound standard in our jazz parts.
