Event F*3/130: Spa

14/05/25, 18:30

The first part of a series of multimedia installations to mark the 130th anniversary of the birth of architect Bohuslav Fuchs. The building of the Zábrdovice Municipal Spa is one of the most important architectural monuments of Židenice and is also one of the most important projects by Bohuslav Fuchs in Brno. The interior of the building is not normally accessible to the public due to its poor technical condition. The interior is nevertheless very attractive, with many elements still in their original condition. During the evening, the spa interiors with lighting design by Vladimír Burian will feature sound installations and performances by students of the HF JAMU and FAVU composition department, Swiss composer, conductor and improviser Roland Dahinden with a solo performance on the alphorn, the Dust in the Groove ensemble and the Radost student ensemble with premieres of compositions by Roland Dahinden and Michal Indrák. Admission to the event is voluntary.
