One of the highlights of the festival will be a performance by the Israeli dance ensemble Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company, which is returning to Brno after a few years. With his previous performances with a stormy audience response, he checked the statics of the Janáček Theater building and we believe that this year it will be one of the most attractive festival productions and will become a dance event of the season. The famous Israeli ensemble under the artistic direction of the exceptional personality of Rami Be´er is one of the most important ensembles in contemporary dance. The choreography Asylum deals with one of the hottest current problems in the world, the problem of refugee status, immigration, the fate of asylum seekers. The choreographer approaches the topic from an existential point of view and raises questions that examine concepts related to immigration, such as homeland, identity, affiliation, alien status, desire and home. member of a Jewish family surviving the Holocaust.
