A staple of the Czech music scene returns to the Mahen Theater to celebrate 45 years on the music scene. The concert will take place on Sunday 16 April 2023. The start is planned from 19:00!
The folk group Nezmaři was founded at the beginning of 1978, but originally as a stage band of the Theater of Dramatic Texts. Soon after, however, they became completely independent. In the nineties, the group became professional and over time became one of the functionally oldest bands of the Czech folk scene. After a period of personnel changes, the band has been operating since 2002 with an unchanged composition: Pavel Jim Drengubák, Šárka Benetková, Pavel Zajíc and Tonda Hlaváč. Nezmary is characterized by polyphonic vocals accompanied by acoustic instruments. Their repertoire mainly consists of their own songs, but also world folk classics.
