Take a look into the world of ballet with us! The 120-minute workshop offers children of younger school age (6-11 years) the opportunity to take a look into the world of ballet art in a playful and experiential way. During the workshop, children will learn something about the history of ballet, important composers of (not only) ballet music, about choreography, costume, scenography and will also have the opportunity to try out the basics of classical dance technique and the connection of various body movements and gestures and expand their movement vocabulary. The workshop also includes a meeting with a dancer from the NdB ballet company with the aim of introducing children to this artistic profession up close. At the same time, it offers them the opportunity to discuss with an active artist topics related to ballet art, music and many others that concern the profession of a dancer.

Introduce students to Leoš Janáček in a fun way. Let them experience Janáček! What is Janáček's story? How did he live and create? What places in Brno are associated with him and how much was his personal life reflected in the musical works he created? A two-hour educational workshop format on the rehearsal stage of the Janáček Theatre, which will guide students through the milestones of Janáček's life and work using fun activities. Practical information: Workshop intended for 4th - 6th grades of elementary schools. Program length 2 hours. The price of the workshop for up to 20 participants is 2000 CZK, each additional person above this number pays an entrance fee of 100 CZK. Arrival through the service entrance to the Janáček Theatre. We ask that students come in comfortable clothing, during the program we also sit on the floor, create, etc.
