Jan Spálený TRIO

You probably know that Jan Spálený founded the best Czech blues-rock band ASPM in the 1980s with Petr Kalandra, or the Amateur Association of Professional Musicians. Kalandra is gone, but ASPM continues to play merrily!
In Ponava we will present a more intimate version of the trio with Michael Gera and Filip Spálený, but the immortal songs will sound like a park with the same parade.
Jan Spálený says about the formation of the new band: “ASPM is the best band of my life. ASPM has grown as reliable and changeable as a rare ring on the hands of a knowing, unpretentious woman. I have no reason or need to change anything on the ASPM floor plan. However, I feel the urge to play - in addition to ASPM - some songs only in a trio, chamber music, and thus build on the folk-blues beginnings of the early eighties.
