TARJA - Raw Tour 2022

TARJI's eighth solo studio album "In the Raw" was released on August 30, 2019, and on it TARJA joined forces with other metal singers such as Soilwork singer Björn "Speed" Strid, Tommy Karevik from Kamelot and Cristina Scabbia from Lacuna Coil. Strid participated in the song "Dead Promises", Scabbii's vocals can be heard in the song "Goodbye Stranger", and Karevik sings in the song "Silent Masquerade". The record "In the Raw" clearly shows how good symphonic metal can be when it really works, when the vocal performances are brought to absolute perfection, the lyrics are versatile, the arrangements of individual songs are extremely well thought out and the overall production of the album is simply excellent.
TARJA also revealed her two special guests on the tour. It's the Norwegian rock trio ABAKAS, who bring something new, exciting, but also recognizable, inspired by The Beatles, Black Sabbath and Blue Öyster Cult. In their work, the heroes of our modern times come to life and thus become legends. The second special guest is the English band SERPENTYNE, which is a combination of old Celtic music, folk, world music and rock. In recent years, their work has been moving towards a more metal sound.
It all sounds very interesting, so it's definitely worth waiting for these TARJI live concerts! A unique combination of sophisticated and refined orchestral music, choirs and Tarja's classically trained voice with a rough, dark heavy core and concerts by two interesting bands ABAKAS and SERPENTYNE await you.
There is no doubt that these will be unforgettable and emotionally charged concerts again! It's just a matter of being patient and waiting for it.
