The Leoš Janáček Foundation, the Society of Friends of the NdB and the JAMU Faculty of Music invite you to a discussion with singer and teacher Natalia Romanová. The event will take place in the Mozart Hall of the Reduta Theatre.
Natálie Romanová celebrated her 80th birthday on 7 December and, at the Janáček International Festival Brno 2024, was awarded the Leoš Janáček Commemorative Medal for her contribution to the performance of Janáček's works and for her merit as a teacher. She is well known to the Brno audience as the unforgettable Jenůfa, Káťa Kabanová, Rusalka and Mařenka. Her excellent vocal technique and unique approach to teaching has also influenced a number of Czech singers. Come and meet Natálie Romanová, and hear her reminisce about her long tenure at the National Theatre Brno, her tours abroad and her work as a singing teacher. The evening, accompanied by photographs from her personal archive, will be moderated by theatre publicist Luboš Mareček. The discussion will take place on 10 January 2025 at 5:00 p.m. in the Mozart Hall of the Reduta Theatre.
