JFB: Shai Maestro Quartet and Glance
Shai Maestro showed extraordinary musical talent from an early age, and it is no wonder that at the age of fifteen he received a full scholarship to the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, which is not at all common at that age. He soon became part of the international jazz scene, where he drew attention primarily as a member of the trio of double bassist Avishai Cohen, with whom he played for five years and recorded four albums. The drummer of the trio was the equally famous Mark Guiliana. This experience provided the Maestro not only with invaluable concert and studio training, which helped him enter the consciousness of jazz audiences around the world, but also helped him define his own musical vision.
Glanc – Petr Nohavica has made his mark on the Czech music scene not only as the leader of his own projects, but also as a sideman in bands across genres, such as Winterspring (Allison Wheeler Quartet), B/Y Organism, Bardo, Tour Guide Blonde or Drifter Days (Tom Smith / Daniel Bulatkin). He also collaborated with other artists, such as Lukáš Oravec, Luboš Soukup, Robert Balcar, and Tal Arditi.

Michal Prokop
Concert by the legendary Czech singer Michal Prokop.
Hm… | Tajíledy
The roots of the playful and original band Hm… go back to 1994. That's when Marek Doubrava, then guitarist of the band Tata Bojs, started rehearsing his own songs with his friend Viktor Ekrt. From these inconspicuous meetings, a band gradually grew, which soon won over the audience with its cheerful and imaginative concerts - already under the name Hm... The music group Tajíledy entered the Moravian scene in 2025 with a gentle, unobtrusive poetics, which is based on the long-standing authorial work of Jakub Navrátil, known from the projects Láska and Listolet. Together with bassist David Škoda and drummer Jan Janečka, they form a mature trio built on strong songs and sensitive arrangements. The band currently also performs at concerts with guitarist Radek Pelikán.

Dorota Nvotová (SK)
Dorota is already a cult brand on the Slovak scene. Her music is hard to categorize – is it retro-pop, heavy chanson, poetic punk, or just all of them? One thing is for sure: it is piano music. Captivating, with overwhelmingly strong, suggestive lyrics that Dorota shouts right in your face. Dorota is not “just” a singer. She is an author, composer, lyricist, pianist – a complete singer-songwriter in the strongest sense of the word.

Annet X is a distinctive voice of the new generation – a singer, songwriter and performer who connects R&B, rap, neo-soul and electronica with a personal statement and authentic experience. Škaredá holka
The band, with roots in the 1980s, evolved from folk rock and blues to original guitar hard rock with distinctive lyrics. They regularly performed in Brno and around the Czech Republic, sharing stages with names such as Hudba Praha, Alice, Nikki Sudden & The Jacobites or Slade. After a break in the 1990s, they returned to the scene in 2021, which resulted in the release of the albums Bohyně and Hnaný větrem, both in 2022. With a new keyboard player, the band released their third album Poseidon at the end of 2025. You can look forward to raw, loud hard rock with blues influences and characteristic earthy lyrics. Hard Rock Forever!
tAngerinecAt (UA/UK) | Jack the Hipper | Mr. Pink and The Bad Thoughts
The project was created from the collaboration of Zhenia Purpurovsky (UA), active in the fields of production, sound art, authorship and multi-instrumental playing, and sound artist Paul Chilton (UK). Their work is driven by a strong anti-war, anti-fascist and anti-ecocide stance, along with a deep commitment to artistic freedom and innovation. Brno-based band Jack the Hipper combines post-punk with elements of shoegaze and atmospheric synthesizers. The result is dynamic and hypnotic concerts. They have released two albums. Doomer Music was released in 2023, following on from their 2018 debut Songs for David. Mr. Pink and The Bad Thoughts – The rock and roll band has evolved into something resembling bedroom-pop on a feather. The lyrical songs, which take heart, are based on dark synthesizers, stumbling electronic beats and innocent girl backing vocals. The depressingly dreamy atmosphere is further underlined by the tapping guitar, which gives the whole project a slightly western feel.
Without a doubt, one of the most prominent figures of the Czech hardcore punk scene with roots in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm, with a focus on the legendary and now defunct DIY punk scene with Vrah. In addition to playing or having played in the bands Telefon, Chorobopop and Uštkni, he also performs solo and the genre he plays, with exaggeration, describes as his "experiment in the field of political disco".

The production of Janáček's Fate, which officially opened the Janáček Brno Festival 2020, marks the return of one of the best opera directors, Robert Carsen. This creator of productions valued for their dramatic grasp, poetics and artistic refinement, returns to Janáček's operatic work to expand his Janáček productions with a sixth opera created especially for Janáček's opera NdB. The very first notes of the orchestral waltz from the overture to Fate introduce us to the noble spa society; simple natural prose is replaced here by language in the style of decadent poets, as Janáček was inspired to write this opera by a beautiful woman, twenty-eight-year-old Kamila Urválková, whom the composer met in August 1903 at his favorite spa in Luhačovice.

Director David Radok and his Rusalka as a fateful drama about unfulfilled desires and human failure, about the contradictory conflict between love and erotic desire, a drama about the sinful human soul. Since its creation, Dvořák's Rusalka has been one of the most beloved and performed Czech operas, not only thanks to its beautiful and unique music, but also to the poetic and timeless libretto by Jaroslav Kvapil, which hides endless symbolism. The theme is perfect for David Radok and a multi-layered production full of strong emotions. David Radok's scenography is based on the concept of Rusalka by scenographer Lars-Ake Thessman, presented at GöteborgsOperan in 2012.

JFB: GoGo Penguin
One of the most followed British bands, their sound freely crosses jazz with a number of other genres - and their audience response is based on this. Few people can easily match a die-hard jazzman with an electronic party goer and a rocker.
FAZE (CAN) + Guest
Faze is a hardcore punk band with psychedelic influences.
Taking the best elements from psych and Japanese hardcore while combining them with newer hardcore bands that somehow have been around for ten years like S.H.I.T. Oaf, and the brain (canadian classics). While Faze fits in with the greatest, some of the songs sway like a boat thats filled with the driving paintbox or destruction unit parts, unrelenting and fast while still being mesmerizing. Like driving a supercar from Rene Levesque all the way to the 40 on Saint Laurent a la 200 KPH, Faze is Montreal itself seen at speeds way too fucking fast.
