Betonovej Bez – a Brno plant with a thirty-year tradition and peculiar roots reaching back to musty basements. WE PLAY ORIGINAL MUSIC, which we talk about among ourselves as cacophonous underground, but in general it would be best described as alternative rock. OUR OWN LYRICS RULES deal very cheerfully with generally serious issues of human existence, here and there you will find something sadder. Nedělní lidé – a Czech-Moravian-Hungarian quintet oscillating on the border of minimalism, noise and punk-jazz foundations. Since 2004 they have released a total of three studio albums (Nedělní lidé – 2005, self-published; Hnětetěto – 2008, Ears&Wind Records; Polaskaki – 2011, Polí5), which received positive reviews and media coverage. They have performed at numerous festivals in the Czech Republic (Colors of Ostrava, Malá Alternativa, Boskovice, Krákor, Babí léto) and abroad (DE, HU). In parallel with NL, the musicians perform in the formations Gregor Samsa, Fask Luma, Matemuzika or are engaged in art (Mazsola, JKF).

Lubomír BUŽMA Khýr, hráč na akustickou kytaru, dobro kytaru, banjo a foukací harmoniku se věnuje akustické bluesové muzice s českými texty. Repertoár tvoří z velké části vlastní písničky a také tradice a gospely s originálními úpravami textů do češtiny. Své bohaté zkušenosti ze společného hraní s polským bluesmanem Markem Wojtowiczem a následného desetiletého působení v duetu Retro Blues, kde se autorsky i interpretačně traduje v polovině repertoáru souboru a přináší řadu také společného vystupování a hraní s Pepou Streichlem dnes bohatě využívá nejen ve studiu, ale zejména na vystoupeních živých. Tento bluesman s banjem na klíně, foukací harmonikou ve stojánku v ústech, s pravou nohou na ozvučené dřevěné krabici a s tamburínou na levé noze nejen vypadá, ale i skutečně zní originálně, zejména když při tom zpívá jednu ze svých písniček ve slezském nářečí.

Brněnská kapela Moca Soul Band Zdeňka D. Blažka, která vznikla v roce 1988 v Montrealu. Hraje vlastní skladby i skladby převzaté ve vlastních aranžích ve stylu tzv. "bílý soul" s prvky bluesu, funky a latina.

Waterbased is the pseudonym of Slovak singer and musician Júlia (Julls) Mihalyiová, who lives in Prague. Her work is characterized by a combination of a soft, intimate voice and an explosion of emotions, often exploring personal experiences and internal conflicts. After a two-year hiatus, her second album FLOOR IS LIME was released on vinyl by Deadred Records in October 2025. The album is both deeply personal and universally resonant – a confrontation with fear, an exploration of the boundaries of the mind and ultimately an act of regaining one’s own power. NIVVA is a Prague-based audiovisual project that connects music and digital technologies. Through a virtual 3D avatar, it explores how technology shapes perception, identity and emotions. Musically, NIVVA combines pop, electronic, ambient and experimental elements.

Od našeho vzniku v lednu 2008 děláme něco, small-BEAT, etnoBEAT nebo třeba Akustické pomezí všeho možného: prvky unplugged bigbeatu, etno, funky, folku, rocku a dance. Což, umě spřadeno do tklivě energické atmosféry, podkresluje místy vícejazyčné texty, na kterých to celé stojí. Dosud s námi rytmiku hráli bicmeni Pepa Schmied, Michal Jež, Honza Trdý, Lukáš Čech a perkusisté Pepa Fiala, Martin Tomaško, Milan Filip a jako záskok extra Honza Blahynka. Basové Linky patří kromě Martina Hajtoly a Zdeňka Jakuba také bývalým basistům Pavlovi Kociánovi a Romanovi Školníkovi.

Mat213 is a prominent figure in the domestic music scene – a rapper, producer and lyricist in one person. He made his first significant artistic breakthrough with the single 7teen, which earned him both Apollo and Vinyl awards and stirred up the waters of Czech rap. In 2023, he followed up with the album Party in Prague and a year later with the recording Nesu oheň, which he released in sold-out clubs Fuchs2 in Prague and Kabinet Múz in Brno.

O5 and Radeček are guys from Jeseníky, where they have been composing music and songs that you are sure to know for more than 25 years. Their latest song is called Hory and is dedicated to everyone who has a relationship with the mountains, just like Radeček. In addition, the guys have prepared many other activities, challenges and hikes to the mountains, mountain merch or tours through the mountains. The single Hory is one of the group's greatest successes to date, among other things, it was declared Song of the Year in the 2023 Czech Nightingale poll. In 2024, academics included the song Hory in a wider nomination for the Anděl Award in the Song of the Year category.

Julius Rodriguez showed undoubted musical talent from his early New York childhood and began playing the piano, which remains his main instrument to this day, at the age of just four. He soon became a student at the prestigious Manhattan School of Music and later at the equally renowned The Juilliard School, where he perfected both jazz and classical playing techniques, which determined him not to limit himself to just one or the other, so to speak. In addition, his loves included other genres, especially gospel and hip hop, which further enriched his eclectic approach to creation. As a teenager, he became a sought-after backing musician on the New York scene, playing alongside such names as Wynton Marsalis and Roy Hargrove.

Henry is the recipient of several Grammy Awards, both as a member of the band Snarky Puppy and for his own work. In 2018, he launched a solo career, releasing the albums Art of Love and Something to Say, the latter of which was nominated for a Grammy in the category Best Progressive R&B Album (2022). As a guest musician, he has collaborated with, among others, Kanye West (album Donda), singer Rosalía, Stevie Wonder and Bruce Springsteen. In 2025, he won a Grammy for the album Church in the category Best Roots Gospel Album. He will perform at Groove Brno with his The Funk Apostles.

In the new family program, the famous puppet characters Spejbl, Hurvínek and Mánička will take you directly to The Bartered Bride and the world of opera. Žeryk will also be present, as will the best musical pieces, because the popular puppets will be assisted by the soloists of the Janáček Opera NdB together with our special Smetana mini-orchestra.

We want to play bluegrass, especially in G, fast and loud :-) We do it because we enjoy it - and there are those who say that it shows in us. The repertoire consists of melodies taken from American bluegrass and newgrass bands, but we also like to play classic country hits or songs from the repertoire of Czech rock and blues musicians.

Vlasta Redl - a self-made all-rounder (composer, lyricist and singer, writer, studio player, arranger, music director and producer, participated in almost 60 albums, also an author of theater and film music) is going to celebrate her many years of concert activity on the boards that mean the world.

Marriage may seem like a comedy from another era at first glance, but it surprisingly touches on something we experience perhaps as often today as it did then: the moment when we have to decide whether to open up to another and allow ourselves something that has long been taken for granted. In an era when relationships resemble constant negotiations rather than fixed rituals, even a simple "yes" can become a small adventure — and reveal more than we expected.

November 2nd are now resonating like never before. After winning the Anděle, the band shifted their sound to modern, layered indie pop and immediately resonated with their first new material – on radio and with critics. Reviews speak of the world sound and the band's breakthrough era. The spring tour will be the first opportunity to experience this new sound live. On it, November 2nd will combine contemporary songs with a strong older rock repertoire from the Anděle-awarded album. They will appear on stage in a complete lineup: Alexandra Langošová (vocals), Roman Helcl (guitar), Jakub Vejnar (bass guitar), Roman Vícha (drums) with guest Congolese-Colombian singer Zaira. An intense concert.

Workshop for 1st – 5th grade elementary school What, but especially who, is needed to create an opera performance? And what would it be like if children became set designers, costume designers, or even an orchestra for a while? We will find out together at the workshop How to Make an Opera! So what will we experience together: Getting to know the opera genre and some opera works. We will find out who works in the opera. We will try out some professions. We will learn selected theatrical terms. We will sing.

The catchy melodies of the promising Brno composer Robin Schenk and the powerful story of love and hate by Petr Štěpán and Miroslav Ondra will immerse you in a legend that is told not far from Brno, and whether it is true or not, we are still reminded of it by an impressive memento - nine wooden crosses near the D1 highway.

The cult folk band Nezmaři has been a fixture on our concert, club and festival stages for 45 years. The combination of their kind song message with unmistakable stage humor brings listeners a unique artistic and human experience. NEZMAřI celebrated their 45th anniversary since their founding. During their existence, they have collected all possible awards that are given in this genre. Porta, Zlatá Porta, Zlatý klíč for the best group, etc. The concert will take us back to the past, with proven hits (Ráno bylo sajtní, Bodláky ve vlasech, Písek, Musíš jít dál, Hey člověče boží) as well as songs from the current period (Kdo si zpívá, Růže, Co je dobré, Jsi svědě kolem…).
