Barbara Maria Willi presents: COMPOSING CARTOGRAPHER OF MORAVIA
Imagine Baroque Manětín in its heyday: in the fairytale courtyard, music flows from the windows of the castle hall not only during celebrations, but often on weekdays as well, thanks to the exceptional local bandmaster. He was Mauritius Vogt (1669—1730), a fascinating composer and a man of many other talents — surveyor, cartographer and historian. Josef Antonín Plánický also worked with him in Manětín, and they were only a short distance away from Dobřany to the famous Jan Josef Ignác Brentner. We cordially invite you to a musical walk through West Bohemian Baroque! Program: MAURITIUS VOGT, JOSEF ANTONÍN PLÁNICKÝ, JAN JOSEF IGNÁC BRENTNER
Longital (SK)
The mainstays of the Czech-Slovak alternative scene, the playful and constantly experimenting Longital, come to present their fourteenth studio album, Krajina běží dol světní břehem (Slunce Records). The new album brings an intimate and experimental sound journey - from acoustic instruments to electronic layers to a unique voice. The lyrics open up space for inner questions of being, joy and transience, and the album is an invitation to stop, listen undisturbed and return to what is essential. For 25 years, Longital has been known for their original combination of poetic lyrics, Shinya's charismatic singing, string bass lines and Dan Salontay's inimitable guitar. The duo has performed on world stages from Europe to the USA and Canada, SXSW in Austin and toured with the Irish The Frames and the Oscar-winning project The Swell Season by Glen Hansard & Markéta Irglová.

LENKA V DAVU | monjur
LENKA IN THE CROWD The endless conflict between steak and tofu uncompromisingly and clearly divides the roles in the musical universe of the band originally founded by two diametrically different personalities of the opposite sex, the same sign, with the same sense of humor and the same therapist. monjur a Brno-Slovak duo producing multi-frequency sounds and moods. Monika shares musical introspection with her singing, lyrics and cello, to which Juraj adds keyboards and synths. Their music is playful, but it can also touch deep places.
The Marriage of Figaro
After the successful production of Handel's Alcina, director Jiří Heřman and I will set out to discover the beauties of Mozart's music and his opera, which enjoys unwavering popularity all over the world. And it is no wonder, because The Marriage of Figaro, in addition to brilliant and sparkling music that will sweep you away with its unceasing flow similar to a mountain stream, also boasts an almost dramatic libretto. And how could it not, when the basis for Da Ponte was the play of the same name by the outstanding French playwright Pierre de Beaumarchais.

Josefina Dusk | Johuš Matuš
Josefina Dusk Transforms feelings of anxiety, panic and l'appel du vide into playfully dystopian, dense, techno pop with a manic fairy energy. Also suitable for damp cave parties and baroque stages. Josefina Dusk creates cheeky sci-fi fetish synth pop that contemplates the beauty and terror of existence itself. Josefina Dušková began creating music primarily out of a desire to perform — which is evident not only in her energetic concert show full of striking costumes, makeup and dance, but also in the music itself. She began composing in London, where she spent three years after graduating. However, during the pandemic, she returned to her native Tábor, where she took care of animals and neighbors, planted trees and at the same time devoted herself fully to creating experimental electronics. As a trained actress, she likes to play with words and often sings in a made-up language. Johuš Matuš Johana Novotná is a versatile audiovisual artist and musician, she studied photography at FAMU and multimedia at AVU. She collaborated on music videos for Ventolin (Disco Science) or Midi Lidi (Prosím kam), Koňe a Prase (Stěhovák). She composes film music, shoots her own films. She describes her electronic songwriting genre as “rural pop”. She has performed with Midi Lidi, Bert & Friends, toured with Ventolin, and has also played a number of solo concerts. In 2016, she released her debut album Rural pop (2016), followed by the album Čus držky (2019), the singles Myšš (2021), Zpívají (2022, feat. Albert Romanutti / Bert & Friends) and in 2025, her latest album V strašidilenný kaši (2025). Her poetics, sense of humor and irony, work with visuals, DIY approach and undisguised outsiderism place her very close to artists such as Ventolin, Midi Lidi, Bert & Friends, Čoko Voko or DVA.

GROOVE BRNO: Vincen García (ES)
VINCEN GARCÍA (ES) — the return of the bassist to Groove Brno Spanish bassist Vincen García returns to Groove Brno after a successful debut. His performance at the 2025 summer open-air edition was one of the moments that was talked about not only among musicians, but also among fans for a long time. Those who were present know: energy, drive, absolute groove — none of this can be mistaken. And those who were not there now have the ideal chance to catch up on what they missed. García is one of the prominent figures of the current European bass generation. His music combines funk, fusion, jazz and hip-hop, with each note having his characteristic signature — technically precise, rhythmically playful, sonically distinctive. His work is based on improvisation, the energy of the moment and complex arrangements that can draw the audience in and not let go.
The Bartenders
"The Bartenders" can refer to a popular Polish ska, jazz, and reggae band known for their 60s/70s Jamaican music style.
Heaven Shall Burn
German metal-core masters HEAVEN SHALL BURN released their new album “Heimat” at the end of June, which they were unable to present in Pilsen at this year’s METALFEST due to the singer’s unexpected health problems. Now the band announces their spring European tour for this new album called “Heimat Over Europe 2026” which will also stop in the Czech Republic! It will be on March 15, 2026 at the Sono Center in Brno! On this album, the band remains true to their characteristic blend of melodic death metal and hardcore in a classically wild and strongly emotionally impressive show! The band, known for their technical precision and strong, very personal, socio-political lyrics, brings an album about spiritual home as something that shapes and influences our thoughts and actions. The lyrics reflect social resilience, oppression and the desire for justice for all. The intensity of the band live is so energetic and ferocious that it directly encourages many moshpits!
Vladimír II
An artist's look into history and into his own inner self. He explores the boundary between reality and personal memory – the image we create of ourselves. Vladimír returns to specific life situations, to moments of solitude, joy and excessive expectations. It is about finding balance with the world, with others and with oneself, about the ability to adapt and cope with both the past and the present.

Vladimír Maňas: Easter Festival of Sacred Music
The 33rd year of the festival is built on the tension between the constancy of spiritual tradition and joy as one of its central messages. The spiritual poetry of the Psalms sounds here as a timeless source of hope and inner light. Vladimír Maňas will offer a dramaturgical perspective on the concept of this year's edition and the wider context of the festival within the Easter tradition.

Karel Plocek: A beautiful encounter not only with music
A program dedicated to the music of classicism and this year's anniversaries: Pavel Vranický (1756–1808), Antonín Vranický (1761–1820) and František Vincenc Kramář–Krommer (1759–1831). The meeting will also commemorate the anniversary of the life of Karel Plock, whose interpretative and publishing activities are closely connected with the music of these composers; he has been dedicated to it for a long time as part of joint projects with the Stamic Quartet (2008–2025). Pavel Fajtl, Martin Jakubíček and Duo Lyriko will perform as guests.
ZZ Top Experience: Fuzz Top
The French band Fuzz Top was founded in 2010 and interprets the work of the southern legend ZZ Top (Heuston, Texas, USA). ZZ Top founded and defined the southern style of rock based on Texas blues. According to experts, Fuzz Top is the most faithful copy of ZZ Top today and they perform in large halls all over the world. The band's style is faithful to the original songs, rhythm and solo guitar riffs are reproduced to the note, the repertoire consists of ZZ Top's greatest hits from 1969 to the present. The musicians use keyboard sequences as on the original for songs from 1979 to 1990. The band members are indistinguishable from ZZ Top visually, and the stage and video projection of the concerts are easily confused with the original. And the original - ZZ Top fans will probably no longer hear in Europe, as ZZ Top has recently been performing mainly on the North American continent.

Drummer with Curls
Percussion instruments are available for rent on site. Come and get carried away by the rhythm. The tradition of this celebratory drumming event arose spontaneously 20 years ago, when the most anticipated "end of the world" did not come on Saturday, December 22, 2012. About 30 people came to Brno's Café Práh to express their joy at the fact that our beautiful blue planet continues on its journey through the Universe by drumming. Since then, this celebratory event of playing djembe and similar instruments has been held regularly - always on Tuesdays closest to the spring and autumn equinoxes and the summer and winter solstices. For those who do not own instruments, Martin Maleček - owner of the Masada company and Marek Pečer - organizer of the Krumlov Djembe Marathon - will bring them for rent. On Tuesday, December 20, 2022, the last 41 meetings took place in the designated 10-year period since the "end of the world" organized by Vilda Dvořák, and for the following periods, Marek Pečer took over this drumming at Café Práh.
