Karel Plocek: A beautiful encounter not only with music
A program dedicated to the music of classicism and this year's anniversaries: Pavel Vranický (1756–1808), Antonín Vranický (1761–1820) and František Vincenc Kramář–Krommer (1759–1831). The meeting will also commemorate the anniversary of the life of Karel Plock, whose interpretative and publishing activities are closely connected with the music of these composers; he has been dedicated to it for a long time as part of joint projects with the Stamic Quartet (2008–2025). Pavel Fajtl, Martin Jakubíček and Duo Lyriko will perform as guests.
ZZ Top Experience: Fuzz Top
The French band Fuzz Top was founded in 2010 and interprets the work of the southern legend ZZ Top (Heuston, Texas, USA). ZZ Top founded and defined the southern style of rock based on Texas blues. According to experts, Fuzz Top is the most faithful copy of ZZ Top today and they perform in large halls all over the world. The band's style is faithful to the original songs, rhythm and solo guitar riffs are reproduced to the note, the repertoire consists of ZZ Top's greatest hits from 1969 to the present. The musicians use keyboard sequences as on the original for songs from 1979 to 1990. The band members are indistinguishable from ZZ Top visually, and the stage and video projection of the concerts are easily confused with the original. And the original - ZZ Top fans will probably no longer hear in Europe, as ZZ Top has recently been performing mainly on the North American continent.

Kvietah & Včely
The young singer-songwriter stands out in her lyrics for their openness and sincerity, as well as the power of her musical statement about an often sad reality. Kvietah shares her feelings in an engaging way and at the same time manages to grasp the essence of a situation outlined only through details. She alternates between distorted alternative rock guitars, catchy pop melodies, electronic beats and pure ballad piano.
Barbora Krčmová
Popular presenter and co-author of the podcast Opravdové zločiny Barbora Krčmová is launching her musical career and organizing her first ever concert at the Brno Metro Music Bar. Drummer with Curls
Percussion instruments are available for rent on site. Come and get carried away by the rhythm. The tradition of this celebratory drumming event arose spontaneously 20 years ago, when the most anticipated "end of the world" did not come on Saturday, December 22, 2012. About 30 people came to Brno's Café Práh to express their joy at the fact that our beautiful blue planet continues on its journey through the Universe by drumming. Since then, this celebratory event of playing djembe and similar instruments has been held regularly - always on Tuesdays closest to the spring and autumn equinoxes and the summer and winter solstices. For those who do not own instruments, Martin Maleček - owner of the Masada company and Marek Pečer - organizer of the Krumlov Djembe Marathon - will bring them for rent. On Tuesday, December 20, 2022, the last 41 meetings took place in the designated 10-year period since the "end of the world" organized by Vilda Dvořák, and for the following periods, Marek Pečer took over this drumming at Café Práh.

Musica Balkanika (SRB/CZ/PS)
The international group Musica Balkanika plays and sings in an irresistible Balkan rhythm on the border of Serbian tradition and gypsy jazz. They will also perform songs in so-called odd rhythms, which are atypical for the local conditions.
The South Bohemian group Epydemye is known for its energetic performances, songs with distinctive Czech lyrics and the Anděl award. It wins over listeners across generations with its positive and spontaneous concert energy and songs whose lyrics open up interesting topics. This easy-going group of musicians is considered one of the most unique musical groups on the contemporary folk scene. Epydemye has celebrated twenty years of existence, their concert will offer a cross-section of older work and new releases from the latest author's album Dosebe, which was released in the spring of 2025.
Repertoár kapely Postband tvoří akustické úpravy více či méně známých songů ze zlatého fondu rockového písničkářství (např. T. Petty, N. Young, V. Morrison, B. Dylan), i představitelů pozdějších autorských generace (např. B. Carlile, D. Grohl, N. Gallagher, G. Hansard, U2). Setlist obsahuje i několik původních písniček.

Betonovej Bez and Nedělní lidé
Betonovej Bez – a Brno plant with a thirty-year tradition and peculiar roots reaching back to musty basements. WE PLAY ORIGINAL MUSIC, which we talk about among ourselves as cacophonous underground, but in general it would be best described as alternative rock. OUR OWN LYRICS RULES deal very cheerfully with generally serious issues of human existence, here and there you will find something sadder. Nedělní lidé – a Czech-Moravian-Hungarian quintet oscillating on the border of minimalism, noise and punk-jazz foundations. Since 2004 they have released a total of three studio albums (Nedělní lidé – 2005, self-published; Hnětetěto – 2008, Ears&Wind Records; Polaskaki – 2011, Polí5), which received positive reviews and media coverage. They have performed at numerous festivals in the Czech Republic (Colors of Ostrava, Malá Alternativa, Boskovice, Krákor, Babí léto) and abroad (DE, HU). In parallel with NL, the musicians perform in the formations Gregor Samsa, Fask Luma, Matemuzika or are engaged in art (Mazsola, JKF).
Mucha (křest alba) + Bijouterrier
After 6 years of waiting, it's here - Mucha has a new album! Nikola Mucha has finally woken up from the chaos of motherhood and, together with the band, brings an album that is as wild as life itself. Raw lyrics about relationships, society and growing up in Kyjov. Unmistakable humor and irony. Bijouterrier will also be there!
UJD | Sen Triplet
We're Already Home There is no music like the one played by UJD in the Czech Republic or abroad. It is punk-wild, urgent, yet compositionally demanding, elaborated in detail with timeless lyrics. The typical sound is the trumpet, choirs, incredible tempo and live performances that abound in strong energy and fatigue. Perhaps that is why their audience does not age with them. Although their music may seem chaotic, randomly composed or improvised to the uninitiated, the opposite is true. In their music, every note, detail, and the discipline of the band matter, and similar to a symphony orchestra, the musicians play according to the score. Sen Triplet Sen Triplet is a post-alternative hardcore folk band. A "super group" from the coldest depths of Czech music ponds. A brisk guitar charge consisting of Jan Valík (guitar, vocals), Petr Burda (bass guitar), Matěj Kubíček (drums).
Mucha (křest) + Buzerant + 12:piet
After six years, Nikola Mucha and his band release a new regular album – raw, furious and full of life's chaos and tender sincerity. The lyrics oscillate between ironic commentary on social conditions, memories of growing up in Kyjov and reflections on complicated interpersonal relationships. Everything is connected by a thread of ADHD energy that gives the band an unmistakable pull.

The director of the new show full of adventure, humor and catchy melodies that will make viewers of all ages laugh and move, will be Petr Štěpán, an experienced author and actor of the Brno City Theatre.

Musically, NIVVA combines pop, electronic, ambient and experimental elements.

Marriage may seem like a comedy from another era at first glance, but it surprisingly touches on something we experience perhaps as often today as it did then: the moment when we have to decide whether to open up to another and allow ourselves something that has long been taken for granted. In an era when relationships resemble constant negotiations rather than fixed rituals, even a simple "yes" can become a small adventure — and reveal more than we expected.
