Klus will once again combine music, words and strong emotions into an original concert experience that will appeal to both the heart and the mind. Here you have it – because sometimes all you need to do is listen.

Sunday concert of an energetic young big band, which will impress with original arrangements and fresh interpretations of well-known songs. This time with the vocal support of Petr Gazdík and Ivana Vaňková. Typical swing melodies, but also songs from the top of the charts, all in styles from swing to jazz-rock. The band of young musicians has extensive experience with concerts at the Metro Club, at Brno festivals, and has also participated in foreign events and shows. It stands out with its energetic playing and fresh interpretations. The big band of the Veveří Elementary School is led by the great musician Tomáš Prokop, who also took care of the original arrangements of some songs. The band will be joined by popular singers Petr Gazdík and Ivana Vaňková as guests. You can look forward to songs such as My Way or Strangers In The Night by Frank Sinatra, Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen, Shallow by Lady Gaga and many others. Make your afternoon walk through Brno on a Sunday even more stylish and enrich it with a pleasant portion of music!

The Ellaboration project by singer Dasha and the Epoque Quartet refers to the American music legend Ella Fitzgerald. It is the songs made famous by this jazz icon that the artists develop or elaborate into new, fresh positions. The specific and amazingly complex sound of the combination of a string quartet with various percussion instruments (hangdrum, vibraphone, cajon), with which Šimon Veselý excels, gives our lead singer Dasha the space to demonstrate her uniqueness in a slightly different field than we are used to. The author of most of the arrangements is the arranger wizard and violist of the quartet, Alexej Aslamas.

A perverse dulcimer fusion of CM Friška z Vracov and Mucha songs. The idea arose from a request by the band J.A.R. to cover one of the songs from their album "Eskalace dobra" for the purposes of the cover album Eskalace bebra. At that time, Nikola chose the bonus song "Právě jsem se pochcala" (I Just Peed), which deals with stress incontinence, and covered it with the aforementioned dulcimer music. After a few years, Nikola came up with the idea of ​​continuing their work together, and the band has already played several concerts. Nikola regularly borrows a costume for concerts and spins like crazy.

This summer, professional guides are available to you, who will not only introduce you to the history of the Janáček and Mahen Theatre buildings and their construction development, but will also tell you all sorts of interesting and spicy things that you will not hear about. You will get to places inaccessible to ordinary spectators, such as backstage or technical rooms of the theatre. During the season, tours can be arranged by individual agreement (at least a week before the tour date) for groups of at least ten people.

In its program Citizenship Notes, the Brooklyn Rider Quartet presents itself as a microcosmic democracy, a strongly engaged ecosystem of equal voices with clear rights and responsibilities. The program also celebrates a significant milestone in the history of Western democracy: the 250th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence. Three commissioned compositions by Don Byron, Ted Hearn, and Angélica Negrón explore issues of citizenship and democracy in the 21st century; a look at Bob Dylan’s classic from the civil rights era is translated by quartet member Colin Jacobsen.

On Friday, June 12th from 7:00 PM, the band Olympic will play for us under the open sky in the Great Courtyard of Špilberk Castle as part of the Bombardák tour. They will play songs that we all know well - Osmý den, Dávno, Vlak co nikde nestaví, Slzy tvý mámy, Já, Jako zmlada, Dynamit, Otázky, Želva, Okno mé lásky, Jasná zpráva, Dej mi vík and many others that we know well, but also new songs such as Bombardák, Já nejszem zlej or Pálím tráv. The third festival Saturday will see the 11th year of the popular unique project Music on a Bike, which combines music of many genres and cycling with discovering attractive tourist attractions and local gastronomy of the neighboring regions of South Moravia and Lower Austria. Music on a Bike is suitable for all age groups: participants choose their own route according to their musical taste and physical condition. Admission to the concerts is free. The next edition of the popular Manene Room will visit Brno for the second time. The most popular Czech DJ and producer Manene brings his 4-hour show to Špilberk.

DARKSIDE FANATIC is Redzed's ninth studio album, combining hard rap with guitar riffs. The sound defines Redzed's work with punchy beats with dark choruses and pushes the boundaries of underground rap. Lyrically, the album focuses on spiritualism, the supernatural and the darkness of the human soul. The cover was photographed at the pilgrimage site of the Mountain of Crosses in Lithuania. We will be christening the album again after two years at the Špilberk Open Air Cinema, where we christened it for the last time.

The Little Prince Recital with Jan Cina brings audiences a unique take on Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's magical story. ‍ Jan Cina will take you into a wise and kind world where everything that matters is invisible to the eye. Don't expect a classic retelling of The Little Prince, but an original combination of music and words that will spark your imagination and touch your soul.

In 2025, we ended the season of joint concerts with Hana and Petr Ulrych and the Javory Beat group on November 19 in Žďár nad Sázavou, playing our 100th joint concert. However, our meetings on stage will continue, even though Petr Ulrych will celebrate his 82nd birthday in 2026, Hanka Ulrychová his 77th birthday, and together they will have been on the music scene for 62 years.

Pavel Čadek is a young Czech singer-songwriter who accompanies himself on the cello - he is the only one of his kind. He has released 4 albums, dozens of music videos and joint songs with, for example, Xindl X, Pokáč, Michal Horák, Tali or Terezia Kovalová. His third album Stepní vlk received the narrowest nomination for the Anděl award in the Folk category. The songs Nestíhám, Utekla mi s ajťákem or, for example, Prsa (a duet with Michal Horák from Pan Fenek) became the most widely known. Although these are all humorous songs, Pavel Čadek wins over a large part of the audience with his more serious or lyrical work, which he tastefully alternates with humor during his performances.

The festival with its unmistakable atmosphere has been an integral part of summer and the beginning of the holidays for more than three decades. It takes place in the historic center of the city, where you will find a unique Jewish quarter with a unique genius loci, and in other places in its vicinity. During the four days of July, you can not only absorb music of various genres in the amphitheater of the summer cinema, the castle greenhouse, the synagogue or the manor yard, but also watch theatrical performances in the backdrop of the Boskovice castle, the parish garden or in the more intimate environment of the local interiors.

Monika NAČEVA with her band – she made her debut in the early 1990s as a singer of dark poems by Jáchym Topol, she sets texts by Czech poets to music and experiments in electronic music. DUNAJ is considered a classic of the so-called Brno alternative scene. After a twenty-year break, the band successfully returned to the stage with the original members: Vladimír Václavek (bass guitar, vocals), Josef Ostřanský (guitar, vocals) and Pavel Koudelka (drums, vocals). Last year, the band was expanded by the great singer Jana Vébrová.

Singer and composer Michal Hrůza has been active in the Czech music scene for more than thirty years and has an incredible number of hits to his credit. He began his music career at a military high school, where he was a member of the school music group and played in amateur theater. In 1996, he founded the group Ready Kirken, with which he recorded five music albums and wrote more than fifty songs and lyrics for them. His composition for Aneta Langerová Voda živá was a hit of the year in 2005 and 2006. In 2006, he was expelled from the band, and so he was at the birth of his new group called Kapela Hrůzy. He created the albums Bílá velryba (2007), Napořad (2009), Noc (2012), Sám sebou (2017), Světlo do tmy (2020). He also contributed to the music for the films Lidice (2011), Martin and Venus (2012), Zakážné úslužbení (2014), Padesátka (2015), Pohádky pro Emu (2016), Špunti na vodě (2017) and most recently Někdo to rád v Plzeň (2025). He is the author of many jingles for television shows (the series Vyprávěj, Mazalové, ..). He sang a cover of the song Píseň kowbojská, which became the jingle for the TV series Slunečná (2020).
