Tango Quartetto Re Campo: Historia del Tango
“Musically, tango may not be important, its only meaning is the one we give it…” (Jorge Luis Borges)
On the most successful album of the world-famous Astor Piazzolla it is written: Nuevo tango = Tango + Tragedy + Comedy + Brothel, a drama expressing a unique evening in the story of music that has become mythology, fashion and a feeling of life. The original-sounding Tango Quartetto Re Campo portrays this atmosphere from the beginnings of tango, through Astor Piazzolla to the unique compositions of Petr Zámečník, where tango may not be musically important and where its only meaning is the one we give it...

Josefina Dusk | Johuš Matuš
Josefina Dusk Transforms feelings of anxiety, panic and l'appel du vide into playfully dystopian, dense, techno pop with a manic fairy energy. Also suitable for damp cave parties and baroque stages. Josefina Dusk creates cheeky sci-fi fetish synth pop that contemplates the beauty and terror of existence itself. Josefina Dušková began creating music primarily out of a desire to perform — which is evident not only in her energetic concert show full of striking costumes, makeup and dance, but also in the music itself. She began composing in London, where she spent three years after graduating. However, during the pandemic, she returned to her native Tábor, where she took care of animals and neighbors, planted trees and at the same time devoted herself fully to creating experimental electronics. As a trained actress, she likes to play with words and often sings in a made-up language. Johuš Matuš Johana Novotná is a versatile audiovisual artist and musician, she studied photography at FAMU and multimedia at AVU. She collaborated on music videos for Ventolin (Disco Science) or Midi Lidi (Prosím kam), Koňe a Prase (Stěhovák). She composes film music, shoots her own films. She describes her electronic songwriting genre as “rural pop”. She has performed with Midi Lidi, Bert & Friends, toured with Ventolin, and has also played a number of solo concerts. In 2016, she released her debut album Rural pop (2016), followed by the album Čus držky (2019), the singles Myšš (2021), Zpívají (2022, feat. Albert Romanutti / Bert & Friends) and in 2025, her latest album V strašidilenný kaši (2025). Her poetics, sense of humor and irony, work with visuals, DIY approach and undisguised outsiderism place her very close to artists such as Ventolin, Midi Lidi, Bert & Friends, Čoko Voko or DVA.

GROOVE BRNO: Vincen García (ES)
VINCEN GARCÍA (ES) — the return of the bassist to Groove Brno Spanish bassist Vincen García returns to Groove Brno after a successful debut. His performance at the 2025 summer open-air edition was one of the moments that was talked about not only among musicians, but also among fans for a long time. Those who were present know: energy, drive, absolute groove — none of this can be mistaken. And those who were not there now have the ideal chance to catch up on what they missed. García is one of the prominent figures of the current European bass generation. His music combines funk, fusion, jazz and hip-hop, with each note having his characteristic signature — technically precise, rhythmically playful, sonically distinctive. His work is based on improvisation, the energy of the moment and complex arrangements that can draw the audience in and not let go.

Heaven Shall Burn
German metal-core masters HEAVEN SHALL BURN released their new album “Heimat” at the end of June, which they were unable to present in Pilsen at this year’s METALFEST due to the singer’s unexpected health problems. Now the band announces their spring European tour for this new album called “Heimat Over Europe 2026” which will also stop in the Czech Republic! It will be on March 15, 2026 at the Sono Center in Brno! On this album, the band remains true to their characteristic blend of melodic death metal and hardcore in a classically wild and strongly emotionally impressive show! The band, known for their technical precision and strong, very personal, socio-political lyrics, brings an album about spiritual home as something that shapes and influences our thoughts and actions. The lyrics reflect social resilience, oppression and the desire for justice for all. The intensity of the band live is so energetic and ferocious that it directly encourages many moshpits!

Vladimír Maňas: Easter Festival of Sacred Music
The 33rd year of the festival is built on the tension between the constancy of spiritual tradition and joy as one of its central messages. The spiritual poetry of the Psalms sounds here as a timeless source of hope and inner light. Vladimír Maňas will offer a dramaturgical perspective on the concept of this year's edition and the wider context of the festival within the Easter tradition.
