Muff a ADHD
Muff, like her TV character of the same name, can be restless and a little mischievous, and she can also turn it up a notch like the famous guitar effect of the same name. Whatever art comes from Iceland, it is always "different". This applies to literature, film, visual arts, but perhaps most of all to music. And therefore also to the ADHD quartet.

Sienna Root (SWE) + Kant (D) – Double Live Release Tour 2025
Siena Root is a Swedish rock band that draws inspiration from the late 1960s and early 1970s – an era when rock was raw, unbridled and experimental. The band formed in Stockholm in the late 1990s and has since established a strong presence on the European music scene. Their signature sound is made up of massive organs, distinctive guitar lines, thick bass riffs and dynamic rhythms, often complemented by bluesy vocals and psychedelic elements. Siena Root sees their music not just as a nostalgic return to their roots, but as a living and constantly evolving organism. The band’s name symbolizes their approach – “Siena” as a warm, earthy shade, and “Root” as a reference to the deep roots of their musical style. Since the beginning of the new millennium, the band has been regularly performing throughout Europe and is known not only for its energy on stage, but also for its openness to collaboration - various musicians often guest on live performances and studio recordings, which brings additional genre layers and color to their work.
The Epic of Gilgamesh (The Broken Epic)
We approach Gilgamesh, the Sumerian king, who dives to the bottom of the ocean for the plant of eternal life. What will he return with from his distant pilgrimage? Cathartic situations create a spark, the necessary intensity that allows us to gain insight into the inner world. Diving into unknown depths requires courage. But being courageous does not mean not being afraid. It becomes inevitable to search for what was in the beginning and in the process find passion but also the beauty of the ordinary, vibrating unrest, pleasure and death, humility and cohesion. An ancient epic broken in half. Quieter heroes emerge from the cracks. Sensitive hearts. Brave souls who fall deep to take off. The performance is recommended for audiences 15+. It also warns viewers that the performance uses a strobe light and loud music.
Bratři Ebenové
The Eben Brothers is a band of three Eben brothers (Marek, Kryštof, David) and other leading Czech musicians (Pavel Skála, Jaromír Honzák and Jiří Zelenka). Dub FX (AU) & Woodnote (UK)
For nearly two decades, Dub FX and Woodnote have been using frequencies and resonance to awaken minds and elevate spirits. From September to December 2025 they will be on tour yet again throughout Europe to perform and bring together people who believe in music’s power to inspire change and spark awareness.
This isn’t just another tour. It’s the launch of the Open Secret Society, a movement built on transparency, unity, and the idea that music can expand minds and challenge the status quo. Unlike the secret societies holding humanity back, this community is about openness and genuine connection.
As part of this movement, Dub FX is launching a new record label, 3rd-Eye-Q, with his wife, Sahida Apsara. The label will be a space for music that resonates on a deeper level—a home for artists who want to create meaningful, authentic music that moves the soul.
One of the first projects to be released on this label will be ‘Open Secret Society’, a collaborative album between Dub FX and Woodnote. This album embodies the spirit of the movement—challenging boundaries, awakening consciousness, and uniting people through sound. Open Secret Society will be available throughout the tour, and those attending the shows will have the chance to pick up a copy directly from the artists.
If you’re a music lover craving authentic art and feeling disillusioned by the shallow offerings of mainstream culture, know that you are not alone—you are already part of a growing movement. Now is the time to come together in our mission to heal society from the influence of the old guard. By attending our gatherings, you actively contribute to a ripple effect that spreads light and positive energy.

Natisa Gogol (UA)
Natisa Gogol started her musical journey at the age of five – she already knew clearly that she wanted to become a singer. A year later, she entered a music school, where she completed a ten-year program. She then continued her studies at a music school in her native Dnipro. A year later, she moved to Kiev, where she entered the College of Variety and Circus Arts, which she successfully completed. She further expanded her education by studying pedagogy at the university, earning a teacher’s qualification in her field. Although music was often considered a frivolous and unprestigious profession in her environment at the time – and her parents initially disagreed with this choice – Natisa felt a strong inner calling. She gradually realized that music was not just her passion, but her true life mission. She feels that she has inherited it – and that she is here to fulfill it.

During this evening, listeners and viewers can look forward to a song-by-song cross-section of Waldemar's entire musical career. In addition to songs from his longest and most successful period with K.T.O., they will also hear some older songs from Semafor, but also some tramp songs that he liked to sing with Kamarády táborových ohňů. All underlined by the memories of Franta Hacker and Petr Třebický, two true Mohicans of the Czech music scene. Performed and sung by: K.T.O. & Olga Matušková
Is Verdi's famous Nabucco just an opera about the desire for freedom? Jiří Heřman's production offers an engaging look at the story of the Babylonian king and the Jewish nation. It focuses on family relationships and King Nebuchadnezzar himself. The opera, full of magnificent choirs and captivating singing parts, has been one of the most popular titles in our repertoire for 35 years.

THE ROCK AND THE PINE TREE
FESTIVAL ACCOMPANYING PROGRAM Admission to the afternoon events is free, the evening concert will be on sale later through the concert organizer. One hundred years since the birth of composer Alois Piňos and artist Dalibor Chatrný Piňosova Street in Kohoutovice, Chalabalova Elementary School gym The Rooster and the Pine is an auto-mythological story, a side story about life before and after death. What will remain of the author – his children, his work and the street named after him. In Kohoutovice, Brno, we will ceremoniously christen a bench on Piňosova Street, and then we will play compositions by Alois Piňos and his contemporaries together with preludes and interludes for the original Piňos piano by his pupils, friends and son. After five days, friendship burns brighter than false interest. So five premieres for five minutes for the Piňos piano have their irrational, tarot reason.
Don Quijote
One of the pillars of the classical ballet legacy is the ballet Don Quixote to the music of Ludwig Minkus, inspired by Cervantes' famous novel The Ingenious Don Quixote of La Mancha. It describes the adventures of the hero, the knight Don Quixote, who is torn by imaginations moving between illusion and reality. However, the ballet productions use Cervantes' story in their libretto only as inspiration and pretext. All the stage action is centered around the young loving couple Basilio (Basil) and Quiteria (Kitri), who are hindered by the rich suitor Comacho (Gamacho). Only thanks to Don Quixote will their love be fulfilled.
Vráťa Hošek a Vadný hrošík + Pondělníci: Antihudba Tour
Vráťa Hošek will join forces not only with his band Vadnej Hrošík, but also with the bizarre and incorrect Pondělníky. Together with them, he is embarking on his first official tour to spread his songs on the borders of the law and beyond the boundaries of taste among the unsuspecting public. The historical and educational slurs of the already popular singer-songwriter about the Third Reich, alcohol and his love of life Olga Hepnarová will be accompanied by his six-member band. The Vadnej Hrošík ensemble released its first EP "První krev" this year and will of course also play Vráťa's classic slurs. Some punk boilers, halekání and not only that! The band promised that they might even rehearse. Pondělníky, otherwise known as "the worst band in the world," are embarking on an autumn tour with their new album "We Don't Want Pondělníky in the Czech Republic," but they will also play all the characteristically offensive anti-music that you already know.

The music of Bizet's Carmen hides French esprit and Spanish passion. After all, who doesn't know immortal opera hits - the famous Habanera, or the aria of the bullfighter Escamillo. But what if there's something more hidden behind the story of the fleeting nature of love?
FRANZ SCHUBERT Sehnsucht D 636 Nachtstück D 672 Der Pilgrim D 794 Auf dem Wasser zu singen D 774 Der Zwerg D 771 Die Sterne D 939 and other songs María Cristina Kiehr soprano Pablo Márquez romantic guitar Last year, two internationally renowned artists originally from Argentina – soprano María Cristina Kiehr and guitarist Pablo Márquez – recorded and released the interpretatively unique and dramaturgically groundbreaking album Sehnsucht, in which they included songs by Franz Schubert with authentic guitar accompaniment from the period. In Schubert's time, it was common for songs with piano accompaniment to be published with alternative guitar accompaniment, often within the same edition. Schubert was no exception – during his lifetime, thirty-four of his songs were published in this way, to which another eighteen were added in the five years after the composer's death. Guitar arrangements of these accompaniments were often the work of the publishers themselves, either because they were guitarists, as was the case with Diabelli, or because they commissioned the arrangements from experts on the instrument. Today we know of about seventy Schubert songs with arranged guitar accompaniments, which have been largely neglected until now and whose historical significance we are only beginning to discover and understand.

Come and have it with us at a bar in these cities across Bohemia and Moravia.
LAST PAGAN CEREMONIES IN WATER TANKS
BRONIUS KUTAVIČIUS The Last Pagan Rites, oratorio for soprano, choir, organ and horns Cantiléna, children's choir at the Brno Philharmonic Choirmaster Michal Jančík When Moravian Autumn presented the oratorio The Last Pagan Rites by Lithuanian composer Bronius Kutavičius in 2017, the concert was described as one of the biggest events of the entire festival year. In 2021, Moravian Autumn presented the work again in an extraordinary way, as a tribute to the composer, who died shortly before the festival opened. Even then, the performance was met with great interest. The audience success and the enthusiasm of the children's choir Kantiléna for performing this work made The Last Pagan Rites a permanent program item of the Moravian Autumn and Tradition: the work was again presented with great interest and success in 2023 and is also planned for 2025: this time, however, for the first time in a recently discovered and made accessible architectural gem - in Brno's historical reservoirs, whose acoustics and almost temple-like architecture will undoubtedly enhance the effect of this suggestive oratorio by Kutavičius and offer it in a new context.
The band was formed in 2020 by friends who had been searching for their individual music expression for a while. Eventually, Mr.Lovo was a result of their mutual love for creative and experimental approaches to music. Through a period of cover versions of various artists mainly from jazz-rock / fusion and funk, they developed their unique expression and started making their original music.

In 2023, Czech Television filmed a feature-length documentary about the history and current form of Flamengo, Flamengo Reunion Session – Chicken in a Watch 50. The documentary includes a recording of a live concert from the Jurkovič Open Air festival.

The vision of composer and director Ruben Zahra adopts paper as the main material for costumes, props and scenography through the use of origami and pop-up paper sculptures. The contemporary aesthetics of the mise-en-scène are also reflected in the choreography of Silke Grabingerová.
Her godmother
Worse than a scar on the face are scars on the soul. Jenůfí pastorkyňa is one of Janáček's most famous works and is a permanent part of the Brno Opera repertoire. It began with a realistic drama by Gabriela Preissová, which the composer himself adapted into an opera libretto. Although he had to significantly shorten the text of the drama, he managed to deepen the effect of the tragic story from the Moravian countryside. The prodigal and unstable Števa, the violent and yet at heart kind Laca, and above all the relentless Kostelnička, whose efforts to maintain her position and respect in the village community lead her to murder the child of her ward Jenůfa. Janáček (1854–1928) captured the individual characters in a masterful dramatic short story that is chilling, yet at the same time arouses compassion and understanding in us. The final form of the work, marked by the death of the composer's daughter Olga, was a long and thorny path. After its successful premiere in Brno in 1904, Jenůfí pastorkyňa had to wait twelve long years before Janáček's efforts were crowned with well-deserved success on other domestic and foreign stages.
HER SHEPHERD / opera of the National Theatre Brno
This year's Moravian Autumn commemorates the 100th anniversary of the birth of Sir Charles Mackerras, a world-renowned expert and promoter of Janáček's music. Therefore, we are including in the festival's accompanying program a performance of Janáček's opera Jenůfí pastorkyňa performed by the opera company of the National Theatre Brno, directed by Martin Glaser. More information can be found here. You can buy tickets here. The opera cannot be included in the festival on a tailor-made basis.
