Its history began in the mid-1980s, when it was founded by a group of musicians dissatisfied with common orchestral practice. The ensemble does not have a chief conductor, but is always looking for exceptional artistic partners for individual projects. Sir Simon Rattle, Vladimir Jurowski, Iván Fischer have held the conductor's chair, and Sir Charles Mackerras has also worked closely with the ensemble.

Druhá tráva will follow up on the success of Forum Karlín. In the fall of 2025, it will play four concerts in theaters across the country. After a sold-out concert at Forum Karlín, with which it celebrated its 33rd anniversary in December 2024, Druhá tráva returns to the stage with Robert Křesťan with a new concert program. In October 2025, it will perform in four prestigious theaters – on October 17 at the Hybernia Theater in Prague, on October 19 at the House of Culture in Ústí nad Labem, on October 21 at the Mahen Theater in Brno, and on October 23 at the Beránek Theater in Náchod.

Postband is a musical project of Jiří Bareš (guitar, vocals), Radek Čech (guitar, saxophone) and Michal Kovář (bass, vocals). The band's repertoire consists of acoustic arrangements of more or less well-known songs from the golden fund of rock songwriting.

One of the hottest new bands on the European melodic rock scene is coming to Brno! Hungarian band Stardust caught the attention of fans and experts with their self-released debut EP, which immediately stirred up the underground scene. Thanks to enthusiastic fans who recommended them directly to the label during the Frontiers Rock Festival, the band was signed by Frontiers Music Srl – and that was just the beginning! This concert at the Metro is also happening at the direct request of Czech fans who wrote about it. Their debut album “Highway To Heartbreak” (2020) received rave reviews and confirmed that Stardust is not just a short-lived flash, but a full-fledged force on the rock scene.

Kompromat is the result of a collaboration between Pascal Arbez-Nicolas (Vitalic) and Rebecca Warrior (Sexy Sushi, Mansfield.TYA). Their first joint album Traum und Existenz, released on Vitalic's label Clivage Music in 2019, laid the foundations for their dark and hard electronic universe. In January 2025, Kompromat returns with the album PLДYING / PRДYING, released on Warriorecords (Rebecca's label). With this record, the duo delves into the themes of prayer (pagan and non-pagan), funeral rituals, transitions between worlds, and, similar to the invocation of deities, captures ecstasy, dance, pleasure and carnal pleasures through music. The duo delights in blurring boundaries and proves it with their new record, which blends EBM, Cold Wave, New Wave and radical techno. While the lyrics on the first album were in German, the new album is sung in English. On the record, we can register the duo's close surroundings, represented by the voices of Vimala Pons and Sonia DeVille, which sound like echoes from other worlds.

JOLLY ROX was formed in 2005 in Florence under the leadership of frontman Joey Zalla. They soon began touring throughout Italy and released several demos, while also appearing as an opening act for well-known foreign bands. In 2009, they released their debut album Welcome To My Twisted Room, followed in 2013 by the EP Jack And The Magic Bean, which brought them success on radio in Europe, the USA and South America. In 2017, they released another EP Dreamers’ Paradise and toured in Italy, Germany and Russia. The arrival of drummer Joe La Grotta in 2018 strengthened the band technically. In 2020, they focused on new electronic sounds thanks to their collaboration with producer Lorenzo Pisco. 2023 marked a new beginning - bassist Captain Keep joined and the band acquired a new manager, Erika Falcone, who helped with the reorganization and presentation. With a new lineup and the support of Rock My Life PR, Jolly Rox are ready for a new stage - with fresh singles, videos and live concerts.

The main facade is dominated by a distinctive entrance awning under the empty facade of the raised mass of the dance hall. Both wings of the building had different functional content: the horizontally placed entrance block with large windows in the facade served as a multifunctional background for students, the second vertically designed multi-storey wing with balconies was intended for dormitory rooms. A concert commemorating the life and work of one of the Czech kings of melody, Karel Svoboda. The evening will feature popular, musical and film melodies by the master in original arrangements, instrumental and a capella arrangements. The sensitive interpretation of the master's work was provided by his long-time colleague, pupil and court arranger Jiří Škorpík (4TET) and an orchestra of soloists in his original staging. The alternations will include: Petr Kolář, Olga Lounová, Lenka Nová, Dušan Kollár (4TET), Ladislav Korbel, Karolina Otevřelová, Lukáš Janota, Vendula Příhodová, Peter Strenáčik, Markéta Amerighi, Gabriela Vermelho and others… The concert will be accompanied by actor and presenter Dalibor Gondík.

Hana and Petr Ulrych, as the protagonists of the Javory and Javory beat teams, have been active on our music scene for decades. What they sing and play has gradually crystallized into a unique musical genre that experts call "Moravian world music". The Ulrychs were the first pioneers of creatively following Moravian folklore. Their songs contain elements of folk songs and big beat, which they started with. They also contain references to Petr's film and theater music. Together with Hana's extraordinary singing quality, they offer listeners the culmination of their original musical journey.
