The junior company will present its second premiere in the 2025/2026 season in February under the title NdB 2: Dispute / Archa /Inside. The eighth premiere evening will present three original choreographies created specifically for NdB2. In a dramaturgically diverse triptych, three different authorial perspectives meet, which develop the interpretive abilities of young dancers and at the same time respond to the themes that accompany them on their path to adult artistic expression.

The Brno dirty-blues punks will release their 6th album, recorded last year in Mississippi. It will be loud, it will be sticky, it will be Sticky Ricky.

The Hello Marcel duo slowly took shape during 2017, when the boys Adam Sodomka and Michael Macek (alias Šmáca), friends from the Svitavy grammar school, hit it off so hard that they got the idea to form a Czech disco band. The first songs were created alternately in a shared rehearsal room in Svitavy or at Šmáca's apartment on Anglická Street in Prague. In February 2018, they released their debut album Marcel, named after their funny and inspiring friend. After a busy year, they managed to finish 9 songs and outline the early dance vision of this tandem group. Cringe Prince is a bedroom MC. Originally from Ústí nad Labem and now from Prague. He releases artifacts into the world that you can sniff with headphones. On stage, he lights rap, lets it burn and throws its remains on his head. Come and see for yourself. It's a ritual.

Spring in the sign of joy of life and music That's what the six spring concerts of the rock band Protheus could be called. They will follow up on the successful autumn tour for the new album "The World of People". There will really be "only" six concerts and they will be all the more exclusive. Protheus promises a new show full of audiovisual effects and pyrotechnics. Unlike in the autumn, the band will no longer play the entire new album, there will be space for both new songs and proven hits. "We want to celebrate the joy of life and music together with our fans, in a big way! We will do our best to ensure that everyone leaves our concerts full of energy and good mood to the brim. Not a single pair of panties will stay dry." This is how frontman Protheus summarized the tour plans. In 2026, the Easter Festival of Sacred Music will reach its 33rd year, thus reaching its fulfillment in the Christian tradition. We firmly hope that in the coming years, the concerts of the Easter Festival will continue to fill Brno's churches and other venues, rejoicing the hearts of their listeners.

All of us who know this fairy tale know which girl will eventually fall for Cinderella's lost slipper. Cinderella, the Prince, the wicked stepmother and the envious sisters come to life in a family fairy tale performance, accompanied by the beautiful music of Sergei Prokofiev in choreography tailored to our company and performers.

After the success of the musical drama Nine Crosses, the author trio Robin Schenk, Petr Štěpán and Miroslav Ondra come with an adventurous comedy story for the whole family that takes us to the mythical north during the Viking campaigns. A story that tells with humor and perspective about themes that resonate across the centuries. Who is a real hero? What does true friendship mean? How difficult it is to be a teenager in any era! How difficult it is to find your place in society and how even harder it is not to be fooled by lies and traps. And most importantly… what about those dragon teeth on Viking helmets. The director of the new show full of adventure, humor and catchy melodies that will make viewers of all ages laugh and move, will be Petr Štěpán, an experienced author and actor of the Brno City Theatre.

The band itself describes itself as a vocal-based group, but the singer is missing from the stage. He is replaced by original recordings that keyboard virtuoso Tom Schneider layers, bends and compresses in real time, as if it were a game with a building block. The exhibition of intangible voices is complemented by bassist Valentin Link and drummer Hendrik Havekost. The rhythm section draws on the legacy of dirty funk and R&B, the resulting sophisticated dark fusion is a re-melted dance legacy of the Berlin metropolis.

Now Agrippina is the empress and once again faces the choice of whom she must sacrifice in order to achieve the imperial title for her son Nero. But in the equally ambitious Poppaea, Agrippina encounters an equal opponent...

In beautiful arrangements, decorated with virtuoso playing on acoustic instruments, Hlas's songs stand out best, based on the balance of music and the poetry of the lyrics. The musicians are no newcomers to our scene, their joy in directly transmitted music is famous. The roots influencing the trio's music go from pub blues, urban ballads, rock and roll, to the melodic melodies of various ethnicities. It is folk music in the good sense of the word. In the trio, Ivan Hlas is accompanied by guitarist Norbi Kovács and cellist Jaroslav Olin Nejezchleba.

Ukulele Orchestra as Brno is a group of players and fans of the ukulele, originally a Hawaiian instrument resembling a small guitar, united by age and musical experience. The group was formed at the end of 2010, at that time still in a smaller number. After the first performances, a group of amateur and professional musicians quickly formed, who gradually built a unique approach and repertoire consisting of cover versions of well-known songs, presented with the aim of entertaining themselves and the audience. The path of the individual members to the ukulele was different, but the basic impulse was the inspiration from Tom Hodgkinson's book The Lazy Parent and personal contact with its author in connection with the Czech translation of the book. In it, the author - himself a promoter of the ukulele - highlights the advantages of this compact instrument with a unique sound and even claims that the ukulele should not be missing in any household. All this is evidenced by the ever-growing popularity of this instrument among professionals and music enthusiasts.

Manon Meurt – Beauty, noise and vibration. Manon Meurt are masters of contrasts between quiet and noisy passages and are also typical of the epic gradations of their songs. They have been on the scene since 2012 and the current line-up consists of drummer Jiří Bendl, singer, guitarist and bassist Kateřina Elznicová and guitarists Vojtěch Pejša and Kryštof Korčák. After the eponymous debut EP, their first album MMXVIII from 2018 was produced by the legendary Jan P. Muchow. The recording was nominated for the Apollo Czech Critics Award and the Anděl Award in the Alternative and Electronic Music category. Ida the Young – Strange flowers, black lipstick, hungry seagulls, wrinkled hands in the bathtub, volcanoes and murderous cowboys – all this makes up the world of Ida The Young. This five-piece band stands out for both intimate, straightforward vocals and captivating lyrics, as well as colorful instrumentation that is not afraid to mix genres.

The band Ektomorf will bring a unique mix of crushing groove metal, thrash influences, and traditional Romani elements to Fléda.

LIK hails from Stockholm and was formed in 2014. Their name means "corpse" in Swedish, which perfectly describes their rough, raw style. The founding members (Tomas Åkvik, Niklas "Nille" Sandin, Joakim "Myre" Antman and Chris Barkensjö) are seasoned veterans who have previously worked in bands such as Katatonia, Grave and Bloodbath, which gave the band a sense of experience and professionalism from the start.

Wotazník is a group of six young, beautiful, talented and above all modest gentlemen. We play energetic rock songs with Czech lyrics and with eccentricities in all possible genres that we enjoy at the moment. After a long wait, our new album Přestupní stanice has seen the light of day and on April 4, 2026 we will bring it to Brno on a spring club tour! The Brno hard-rock formation Babyløn will perform as a guest.

Bedřich Smetana originally thought of a comic opera with librettist Eliška Krásnohorská. In the end, while composing his last completed opera, the composer found moments in the romantic text, inspired by an old legend about a wall of stones built by the devil on the river by the Vyšehrod monastery, that gave the whole story a different tone. Smetana's isolation in Jabkenice and his dismal health and depression were reflected in the individual characters, and the comicalness was replaced by the depth of their feelings. The humor did not disappear either, but it is combined with the desire for love, life wisdom, melancholy and devilish temptation, so that the main tone was a celebration of love, loyalty and dedication.

They have been playing together for more than three decades, and although the trio of Hammond organ, guitar and drums knows a lot about jazz history, it was they who created a unique and organic sound that has become a symbol of sophisticated and groove-filled jazz. Their music is full of telepathic interaction, deep harmonies and unbridled improvisation.

While still a student, he was a member of the first very important band of his career, namely the Organic Quartet led by organist Ondřej Pivec. In 2007, he debuted with his solo album On The Playground.

Narvan is firmly connected to its roots. In the original line-up with a new singer and guitarist. After a hiatus that lasted almost a quarter of a century, the Brno funk rocket Narvan is returning to the scene with the three original members on board, supplemented by new partners. They commemorate the legacy of singer Mario and guitarist Marty with dignity and full force.

It is often forgotten that the piano is a percussive instrument. When you listen to Amaro Freitas, you immediately remember this. That is what they wrote about this new star of Brazilian jazz, who has Latin American rhythmic foundations in his blood, head, hands and heart, as well as the impulses of the most modern music.

Michael Krásný is a singer, entertainer and above all musician, the court bassist of the legendary jazz trumpeter Laco Deczi, with whom he has been collaborating in his band Celula New York since 2012 not only as a sideman and singer, but also as a producer of his albums and projects (e.g. Symphonic Ballads, Proton). Immediately after accepting Deczi's engagement, he moved to New York, where over the years he has developed from busking on the streets of Manhattan to iconic playing in the subway, to performing not only on the club and bar scene, but also to collaborating with major world-famous artists, such as New York singer and award-winning jazz pianist Peter Cincotti, with whom Michael has played several of his world tours. His energetic and sensual playing electrifies audiences at premium venues and events around the world. His sensitively woven compositions integrate a wide range of styles, including funk, rock, R&B, jazz, soul and Latin American rhythms. It combines impeccable professionalism, a love of music and a constant commitment to innovation.
