Only Fire (HR)

05/07/26, 21:00 / Club Fléda

Only Fire is a 26-year-old producer, songwriter and DJ from Zagreb, Croatia. His explosive beats and club anthems are characterized by an iconic robotic voice reminiscent of Siri, which serves up absurdly funny and hypersexual catchphrases and metaphors. Thanks to this, he has collected over 50 million streams worldwide. His single "Moana Lisa" became a viral phenomenon more than a year after its release - over 75 thousand videos were created on TikTok and the track was supported by stars such as Doja Cat, Zara Larsson and Sukihana.

New Model Army

10/07/26, 20:00 / Club Fléda

Since forming in Bradford in 1980, New Model Army have gone through everything from punk rebellion to northern English folk influences to dark rock. Their sound is built on a dominant, pulsating bass guitar and the charismatic voice of frontman Justin Sullivan, whose lyrics about social injustice and personal freedom have lost none of their relevance in 45 years. They have immortal classics like Vengeance and Thunder and Consolation, as well as a fresh approach in the form of the well-received album Unbroken. The band is famous for their devoted fan base, "The Family", and concerts where blood and emotion are sweated without unnecessary studio embellishments. New Model Army don't need pyro or confetti; they just need guitars and the truth that cuts to the heart.

Poison Ruin (USA) + Vole

16/07/26, 20:00 / Kabinet múz (The Cabinet of Muses)

Poison Ruin's sound grows out of crust punk, with influences from oi!, American post-punk, NWOBHM and dungeon synth. They make heavy use of dark medieval themes and lyrical motifs, interwoven with anarchist iconography.

This Will Destroy You (USA)

28/07/26, 20:00 / Kabinet múz (The Cabinet of Muses)

This Will Destroy You is an American instrumental band known for their expansive, cinematic soundscapes that blur the lines between post-rock, ambient, and doomgaze. Since forming in Texas in 2005 and releasing the award-winning EP Young Mountain, they have built an international reputation for emotionally intense live performances and immersive albums such as This Will Destroy You, Tunnel Blanket, and Another Language. Their music—often balancing fragile atmospheres with crushing gradations—has also been featured in major films and series, including Moneyball, World War Z, and Foxcatcher, cementing their position as one of the most influential voices in contemporary instrumental music.

Ch’Ahom (DE) + Mörghuul + Otras

31/07/26, 20:00 / Kabinet múz (The Cabinet of Muses)

The bestial commando from Essen, inspired by the rituals of pre-Hispanic American civilizations, will make their premiere in Brno. The dark atmosphere, underlined by incense and candles, is shattered by an absolutely uncompromising riff bulldozer, which breaks down any boundaries of endurance and establishes the rule of sonic terror. You really shouldn't miss this brilliant and masterfully played combination of rawness, cult atmosphere and precise guitar dictation. See you in Xibalba.

Good Riddance (USA) + March (NL/BE)

05/08/26, 20:00 / Kabinet múz (The Cabinet of Muses)

Californian hardcore punks Good Riddance are coming to Brno for the first time in their thirty-year existence! There are not many bands that have left such a mark on American, and indeed global hardcore punk, while maintaining their identity throughout. The debut For God and Country already impressed the scene at the time like a proverbial brick thrown into stagnant water, mainly with its unique combination of classic Californian (made in Santa Cruz baby) melodic skate punk and hardcore, which was played much harder than other bands of this style and, above all, with a very clear political accent in the lyrics. Singer Russ Rankin said at the time, with a bit of exaggeration, that he was trying to play something between Descendents and Born Against, and it actually fit perfectly. After all, the drummer Sean Sellers from another cult political band Downcast was and still is in the lineup at that time. With the goal of playing melodic and straightforward hardcore punk with hit choruses, but with a clear political content, Good Riddance recorded their next four and still most respected albums, such as Ballads from the Revolution and Operation Phoenix.

The opening concert of the Brno Music Marathon at Sono Centrum will feature the Food project by pianist Omar Sosa and trumpeter Paolo Fresu. Their collaboration combines acoustic instruments with electronics and works with themes of sharing, dialogue and sustainable lifestyle. The Food project thematically touches on restaurants and winemaking – the authors were inspired by the sounds of presses, clinking glass, splatter of oil, cutting vegetables and the voices of chefs and winemakers in different languages. For the Brno performance, the duo will be joined by guest Nguyên Lê, this year's resident artist of the festival.
