The band Žamboši has been playing since 2002 and today you can see them on stage in a trio of heroes, consisting of Jan Žamboch /guitar and author/, Jiří Nedavaška /drums and samples/ and Aleš Mrnuštík /bass/. All five of the band's older albums were nominated for the Anděl award in the Folk category. The sixth album, Skrýš, contains thirteen beautiful songs full of stories. Jan's lyrics feature real characters, whether living or forever dreaming, but always with a message that he hopes will uplift the soul.
