Bára Zmeková is an award-winning composer, pianist and singer with an unmistakable expression, moving in her songs with original Czech lyrics between jazz, folk, classical music and soft electronics. She is not afraid of experimenting and discovering new musical spaces and is able to captivate the listener with her unique piano playing and the depth of her lyrics. She lightens the fragility and urgency of the songs with humor and perspective, and alternates piano playing with synthesizers. Ronley Teper has been an indispensable figure in the Canadian independent scene for almost twenty years. Her live performances are radical multimedia rituals in which music, performance, poetry, satire and improvisation collide without inhibitions.
