CHRISTMAS CONCERT

We have decided to prepare a unique Christmas gift for all the viewers of the Brno Municipal Theatre, which will be a Christmas concert performed in several reruns at the MdB Music Stage. The concert program will consist of a “golden fund” of Christmas songs and carols arranged by Günther Gürsch, Christian Kolonovits and Igor Vavrda – Silent Night, White Christmas, I’ll Be Home For Christmas, We Wish You A Merry Christmas… Our theatre’s orchestra will certainly shine in the instrumental Winter Wonderland, among the selected songs will appear both Lennon’s This Is Christmas and Cohen’s Hallelujah. Our musical repertoire will recall The Special Sign from the musical by Markéta Lazarová, world-class musical composers Pie Jesu from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Requiem and of course there will be traditional Czech carols, such as the iconic song Christ the Lord was born and many others.
