Dance
Good Riddance (USA) + March (NL/BE)
Californian hardcore punks Good Riddance are coming to Brno for the first time in their thirty-year existence! There are not many bands that have left such a mark on American, and indeed global hardcore punk, while maintaining their identity throughout. The debut For God and Country already impressed the scene at the time like a proverbial brick thrown into stagnant water, mainly with its unique combination of classic Californian (made in Santa Cruz baby) melodic skate punk and hardcore, which was played much harder than other bands of this style and, above all, with a very clear political accent in the lyrics. Singer Russ Rankin said at the time, with a bit of exaggeration, that he was trying to play something between Descendents and Born Against, and it actually fit perfectly. After all, the drummer Sean Sellers from another cult political band Downcast was and still is in the lineup at that time. With the goal of playing melodic and straightforward hardcore punk with hit choruses, but with a clear political content, Good Riddance recorded their next four and still most respected albums, such as Ballads from the Revolution and Operation Phoenix.

They achieved success with the singles Everybody Gets High and Twisted, which became gold. In 2024, they scored another hit, the single Good Vibrations, on whose remixed version Wes Borland from Limp Bizkit took up the guitar.
Temora + Ploutonion (DE) + Fessus (AT)
TEMORA (death metal, CZ)

Last year, the band released a solid demo that earned them a spot in the spotlight of rot and sepulchral decay. You’re bound to hear a lot more from them, so come catch them live before they’re headlining Kill-Town Death Fest!

Total Chaos (USA)
Total Chaos is one of the longest-running American street punk bands. The California-based group has been active since 1989 and has released eleven studio albums over the course of more than three decades.
Their sound is rooted in the British punk of the early 1980s—drawing inspiration from bands like GBH, Discharge, and the UK Subs—and remains grounded in fast, uncompromising hardcore punk. Frontman Rob Chaos was also a co-founder of the SOS Records label, which released material by bands such as Sham 69, Vice Squad, and The Adicts.
Black Magnet (USA)
Black Magnet are pioneers of the new wave of American industrial metal. *Revolver* magazine aptly described their music as "grinding, searing, and metallic-mechanical"—and that is exactly how they come across live. Expect an aggressive sound, machine-like precision, razor-sharp riffs, and destructive intensity.
Black Magnet have released two full-length albums via the 20 Buck Spin label, while their latest effort, *Megamantra*, came out on Federal Prisoner. The band has shared the stage with acts like 3TEETH, Code Orange, and Chat Pile, and earlier this year, they toured the US with Author & Punisher.
Their lineup also features members of All Your Sisters, Destroyer Destroyer, and Greg Puciato’s backing band. Prepare for a truly heavy, guitar-driven industrial sound that crushes, pulses, and never lets up for a second.

Devil Master (USA) + Solomonar
Rising once more from the darkest, filthiest streets of old Philadelphia, Devil Master return to corrupt the children of light with their third album, *Bloody Dreams*. This new Relapse Records release leans further into punk and occasionally delves into psychedelia, yet remains enveloped in the savage aura of raw black metal. The album was produced by Davis M. Shubs and Grammy-nominated sound engineer Eric Bogacz, who imbued the record with a dark, hypnotic sound. A raw black metal-punk ecstasy of blasphemy and existential dread!
Solomonar is a new occult metal-punk band from Brno, inspired by romantic vampirism, morbid visions, the omnipresence of death, mysticism, and heavy drinking.
Barbara Kanyzová Trio
A new musical trio led by Ostrava-based singer, composer, and lyricist Barbara Kanyzová presents her current work in an intimate setting.
Together with Jan Kubín (keyboards) and Štěpán Váňa (double bass), they form a balanced ensemble grounded in authenticity and sensitive musical expression. Collectively, they create a space for poetry, intimacy, and the artist's personal expression.
After a two-year hiatus, Metastavy are returning to the stage and will perform on September 9th at Kabinet MÚZ in Brno!
The band Metastavy consists of Anna Hokešová, Ursula Sereghy, Ashley Abrman, Marek Pach, and Nodin Péči. Their music blends neo-soul, jazz, hip-hop, and poetry. In her lyrics, Anna Hokešová explores themes of growing up in the city, love, and navigating life while holding onto dreams.
Their music transports the listener to the space between everyday reality and the hazy atmosphere of city days—illuminated by traffic lights, nighttime shop windows, and streetlamps. Faces, trams, and vague memories of earlier versions of the world emerge from the melodies.
Metastavy formed in 2018 and gained recognition with their debut album *Až vyrostu* (2019); their second album, *Žhnoucí ticho*, was released in 2023.
The Queues (Baptism) + The Landmine Spring + Chora Sfakion
THE QUEUES
This bearded brotherly duo from Znojmo—whose combined height nears four meters—blends influences from garage rock, lo-fi, punk, and stoner rock with the power of a full-sized band. They successfully translate their signature live energy into their recordings: vocal lines complement distorted guitar riffs—underpinned by bass from a separate amp—which, together with drums often built on machine-like, repetitive beats, form a tight, cohesive whole.
THE LANDMINE SPRING
At the turn of the millennium, The Landmine Spring became a benchmark for indie/emo hardcore. Their sound—influenced by bands like the American acts Quicksand or Texas is the Reason—always remained distinctive. To this day, it bears the authentic stamp of that era, a time when it was not unusual for The Landmine Spring to share the stage with the cult band Fugazi.
CHORA SFAKION
This young post-punk band from Znojmo released their excellent debut album, *Féerie*, last year. A defining characteristic of the band is the unmistakable delivery of singer and primary lyricist Michaela Frindová; her urgent vocals and stage energy make her a superb frontwoman. Dreamy vocals, shoegaze-style distorted guitars, drums that feel almost searing, and basslines that repeat like a mantra. Spoken word, sharp cymbals, screaming, and catchy melodies. Chora Sfakion draw the audience into the action of stories—both fictional and well-known—that captivate with their sheer intensity.
eversame + your somber eyes

Since they have been active on the scene, they have managed to play at festivals such as Pohoda and Rock for People, as well as concerts with bands such as Horse Jumper of Love or Sport. Few groups can create such a strong and intimate bond between band and audience as Eversame.
your somber eyes is a representative of the new wave of Czech shoegaze. Their work oscillates between melancholic post-rock and ambient atmosphere, which they combine with intense guitar parts full of emotions. Their discography consists of the introspective debut EP "Reaching in the Dark" and the more recent single "Bonemarrow", but they often play unreleased songs at concerts.

He has previously performed in Brno with the project The Ministry Of Wolves, alongside Danielle de Picciotto, Mick Harvey (formerly of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds), and Paul Wallfisch (formerly of Swans). However, Hacke’s body of work extends far beyond that; in addition to Neubauten and his solo material, he has collaborated with The Tiger Lillies, Crime & the City Solution, Wovenhand, and dozens of other acts. Bite The Sun + Halo Of The Sun + Dream Of The Sun
SUNFEST is not a festival in the traditional sense. It is a gathering of like-minded bands united not only by the sun symbolism in their names but, above all, by a shared emphasis on a modern take on heavy music, a distinctive atmosphere, and a unique creative approach.
BITE THE SUN (alternative metalcore)
Hailing from Brno, Bite the Sun deliver a blend of atmospheric metalcore, striking melodies, and heavy riffs. Their live shows are known for their focus on the audiovisual experience and a cinematic atmosphere, enhanced by projections and an elaborate stage show. The band’s motto, "Drop tunings, not bombs," perfectly encapsulates their approach to music.
Kladno-based Halo of the Sun has established a solid foothold in the local progressive metalcore scene over the past few years. Their sound combines technical precision, melodic passages, and modern production. In early 2026, they released the EP *Hyperconnected*, which thematically explores the loss of identity, the pressures of the digital world, and internal conflicts.
Prague’s Dream of the Sun builds its sound on a melancholic atmosphere, personal lyrics, and raw energy. They combine catchy choruses with heavy passages, merging influences from the modern metal scene—incorporating electronics and atmosphere—with the energy and directness of old-school nu-metal.
Tomáš Havlen (album launch) + Lichnovský
Birds In Row (FR)
The French trio Birds In Row blurs the lines between raw screamo-punk and atmospheric post-hardcore. There is no calculation here—only pure emotional catharsis built on abrasive guitars and neurotic vocals. At Brno’s Kabinet MÚZ, they will showcase their latest album, *Gris Klein*. An intense club experience is guaranteed for fans of bands like Touché Amoré or Converge.
Hailing from Laval, France, the band has risen to the very top of the European independent guitar music scene since its formation in 2009. For years, they were associated with the iconic label Deathwish Inc., releasing genre-defining milestones such as *You, Me & The Violence* and *We Already Lost the World* under its banner. Birds In Row have built a reputation as a band that rejects genre clichés; while their sound is firmly rooted in the legacy of acts like Fugazi or Modern Life Is War, it also possesses a modern post-metal drive and a sense of heavy melancholy.

Grails DJ set (USA)
For twenty-five years, Alex Hall and Emil Amos have been the driving force behind the sound of the band Grails. Alongside that, they also develop a second project, Lilacs & Champagne, through which they immerse themselves in the world of samples and sound collages. Having spent over two decades traveling the globe as record collectors and DJs, they are now bringing their act to Kabinet MÚZ for a one-night engagement.
On their latest album with Grails, *Miracle Music*, they construct an exotic sonic world built upon minimalist compositions and sound sculptures that balance between a horror-movie atmosphere and a surprisingly sentimental tone.
Midnight Swimmers (album launch) + Heima (PL)
Midnight Swimmers, a band formed in London and now based in Prague, made a name for themselves on the Czech indie scene with their debut EP, *Oceans & Seas*. This was followed by a performance at Rock for People 2025 and a spot in the finals of Radio Wave’s "Startér" talent competition. In the spring of 2026, they released their first full-length album, *Odd Ones Out*.
Their music is characterized by indie-rock grooves, melancholic ambient soundscapes, and intimate vocal melodies, combining to create a sound that oscillates between guitar-driven energy and dreamy introspection.
Heima is a band from Łódź, Poland, formed in 2017; they quickly garnered attention for their mature yet bittersweet worldview. Their sound blends guitar-oriented indie rock with thoughtful, socially conscious Polish lyrics penned by frontwoman Olga Stolarek.
Blockhead (USA) + ProleteR (FR) + Arms and Sleepers (USA)
Internationally acclaimed New York producer Tony Simon—also known as Blockhead—has released 15 albums over the past 25 years, including four highly regarded records for Ninja Tune, and has contributed to numerous productions, notably including significant collaborations with Aesop Rock. Regarded as a modern master of instrumental hip-hop, he has recently been releasing music on platforms such as Future Archive Recordings and Backwoodz Studioz.
Over the past decade, French beatmaker ProleteR has established himself as a key figure in the international electro, nu-jazz, swing-hop, and instrumental hip-hop scenes. By combining vintage jazz samples, boom-bap grooves, and electro-soul textures, he has crafted a warm, instantly recognizable sound that bridges nostalgia and a modern approach. With over 200 million streams worldwide and a dedicated fanbase across Europe, North America, and Asia, his music has played a pivotal role in shaping the global identity of swing-infused hip-hop.
Arms and Sleepers blend underground electronic music with glitch beats, experimental hip-hop, and the atmosphere of contemporary post-rock. For years, the band consisted of the duo Max Lewis and Mirza Ramić, but since 2018, Ramić—who relocated from Boston to Berlin—has remained the sole official member. The project boasts a catalog of over 30 releases, 3,000 live shows worldwide, and numerous placements in film and television; the year 2020 was particularly prolific, seeing the release of four albums and three EPs. Recent releases include the albums *Former Kingdoms* (2022) and *What Tomorrow Brings* (2024, Pelagic Records), as well as numerous collaborations (e.g., with Blockhead, Poldoor, or Hidden Orchestra). Arms and Sleepers are celebrating their 20th anniversary this year, marking the occasion not only with a return to the stage but also with new music and limited editions.
