Pavel Váně & Michal Pospíšil

An intimate club recital—essentially a stroll through the musical past of rocker Pavel Váně, co-founder and frontman of the band Progres 2—revealing a completely different side of the artist. Accompanied by fellow rocker and guitarist Michal Podpíšil (a member of J.A. Kronek’s band, Alband), the duo will perform a semi-acoustic set. This will include not only current Progres 2 songs but also tracks from bands Pavel played with in the past—such as Synkopy 61, Collegium Musicum, Progress Organization, Barnodaj, Bronz, Bowle, and VKV. Given the intimate atmosphere, the performance will naturally be peppered with plenty of behind-the-scenes anecdotes and observations from his travels around the world. The evening promises to be a relaxed, informal musical gathering. Two rockers—performing everything live, with no backing tracks—just two voices and two guitars.
